its unforunate, but yes there is an chipset limitation preventing high Fsb.
Asus/Intel combo is best at it again..:)

only thing of interest he has to report is rubbing in our face that he has the coolest psu on the planet lol
so where int he usa can one buy one anyways.
Sex on legs if it had any legs that is , super duper cool PSU
if you look at the cpu-z screenshot it still says the southbridge is [570] chipset which means its still the c19 version, the c55 version is the one we are all waiting for anyway-- which still may take a while
Is tthe c55 going to be used on the P5N32sli-premium board?Quote:

Actaully I do think the asus one will do better, the board coolaler is using is the old c19 and the asus one does look like if it has the C55 , it has more lanes pciexpress too, i may be wrong though
thats what im really waiting on is to see what the 590(c55 version) can do... i bought the 6600 this time instead of the 6800 hoping the c55 version of the 590chipset would clock nicely.. only time will tell i guess
ASUS p5nsli-32 uses c19.Quote:

then tell me way does Windwithme's CPU-z screen say nForce 590 as southbridge on exactly the same boardQuote:

edit: nm.. I saw "october".. and low multi action.. crap!!!!!! so I guess sell the E6600 I have and go for the 6700 or 6800? that's a lot of bread... will the 975 chipset work with SLI well? I saw crappy benches.. Anyways, let's hope DFI is able to sort some of that out.. else I might go with a different board..
i am sorry;) ...BUT...you are "THE" best picture taker in the WORLD!Quote:

Yeah, but quoting all the pics was little overkill :rolleyes:Quote:

waitin for some screen.... I have to know if this is THE mainboard, or just another flop as the infinity... :stick:

Hello COOLALER! I am interested in the DFI UT LP NF590 SLI T2R/G motherboard. Could You tell me what your max FSB is? Can You raise the Multiplier above x11 for Your X6800? Does the BIOS allow You to enter a QUAD PUMP or do you have to enter the total FSB? How and where did you get the board? ARE YOU UNDER NDA AT THIS TIME?
The reason I ask is that I am interested in this board like I said, as I like the Digital PWM, the Dual x16 SLI, and the layout of the board. I already have an X6800 Conroe Xtreme and an ASETEK VapoChill LS. I am having a Lian Li PC75 customized for my Vapochill's Evaporator hose, plus I am having a Triple Radiator put in the roof, for watercooling the NB and SB as well as the Graphics Cards. Any info you can give me on the DFI Board would be appreciated. Thanks ;)

word around the camp fire is that the 590 chipset is just a poor OCer with the conroe.. I think the fsb tops out around 350 max. not sure about am2 cpus.. maybe with later bios revisions this will improve, but popular lore suggests it's just a limitation of the chipset.. if you want to play with extreme OCing on your conroe get a 975X chipset mobo..
well i am truly saddened. i was very VERY much hoping DFI would really REALLY pull this one out of their arse.
and its not just about nvidia its also about DFI's ongoing bad blood with Intel...
well i guess we are all gunna have to just wait around and see what ATI has hiding in the closet.

Yea, no max FSB.
i think this is going to change , the price on the 590 boards are a fair bit which makes me think that they will not have the c19 chip , lets keep our fingers crossed.
VR-Zone's - DFI LAN Party NF590 SLI Intel Early Sample Test
http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=3943
LDT was what AMD's name for hypertransport originally was, they only renamed it to hypertransport after intel pulled out PCI Expess out of the bag.
It means Lightning Data Transport and i can guarantee there isn't any Hypertransport on this board. It's just a dead option from NForce thats all. Won't work
More here http://www.theregister.co.uk/2001/02...ypertransport/
hello
any idea of date for commercial release?
Too bad nVidia won't do C55 until Q1 07. I guess Conroe owners will stick with ASUS P5B Deluxe until nVidia gets off their collective arses and releases c55 boards.
Saw that as well but also looks like ATI's RD600 should be out by beginning of october (if rumors are true). My question is what is wrong w/ Nvidia, did they collectively screw up or what? It's NOT like conroe was a surprise to them (heck intel was talking up a storm on it since the beginning of the year) and they even had a sample board in June. Now they have left the market to Intel & ATI, methinks someone high-up should be fired or at least not get their 'bonus' this year.Quote:

We had a little chat with DFI this evening and they informed us that their highly anticipated LANParty UT nF590SLI-T2R/G motherboard has been officially canceled. It seems that DFI had decided to discontinue the motherboard before it was even released. Apparently, DFI is not very happy with NVIDIA's C19 chipset which resulted in poor overclocking...
Nevertheless, DFI is currently working on the newer NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition C55 chipset and the motherboard has been rescheduled from 2007 to Q4 2006. We can expect a brand new DFI Intel Edition SLI motherboard within 2 to 3 months time and we were told that DFI is putting their main focus in this project.
