mine too ;) f**ckin' german school english ;D
Welcome to XTREME zac* !!
thx #:)
I have something interesting to add about stability. My 2100+ can do 2,15 GHz (13x166) and run everything (Prime 95 for 16 hours, Super Pi, Hours of newest games, all programs I tried) stable except one single thing. Can you guess? Probably not so I'll just tell you.
It's Quake 3 Arena. Thats right, Q3A! All other games work just fine for hours but Quake 3 crashes in a matter of minutes. Doesn't crash if I run at default speed or even at 2,0 GHz, so it's definately due to overclocking.
As for 1700+ L (1,5V) chips. I bought one for a frined and It didn't do all that well, althoug not that bad either. 2,08 GHz (12,5*166) at 1,65V Prime 95 and Super Pi stable, but at 2.15 (12,5*173) at 1,70V it fails Prime 95 after 5 hours so It would probably need 1,75 for 100% stability.
It was a:
<img src="http://users.volja.net/lukaakul/images/AXP1700pL01.jpg" border="0"/>
hmmmm nice to see this, I was just planning to order a 1700+ with the same core as yours @ www.funcomputer.de :banana:
how many volts on your mem?
Mem was at 2,7V, normal timings, which is very conservative. Someone else over at our forum in Slovenia bought a:
AXDA1700DLT3C
JUIHB0308XPMW
9741497250276
And he's doing 2,15 GHz (13x166) at 1,55V and 2,34 GHz (13x180) 1,6V everything Prime 95 Stable for more than 10 hours. Now that's some CPU!
:slobber: :slobber: :slobber:
My AIUHB 0249 2400+ will do 2.57GHz, but only at 2.1vcore and 30C! :brick:
...Not the worst clocker though... @ 2.33GHz 45C load now...
..MCX462+ is definitely a good HS...
Some undervolted, aircooled* results :
2105MHz @ 1.4V (1.44 MBM) :
SuperPI 4M :
*SK6 & Delta 38@7V
nice, but would you mind moving the results over to the right a little more...;)
I can do a bit better than that, with my 1800+ ;)Quote:

1800+ DLT3C 9875406252802
JIUHB 0310 MPMW
1.5v = 2170 MHz
1.65 = 2370
1.725 = 2450
1.78 = 2500
1.825 = ~2530

Quite nice with low voltages, even if I say it myself.
That's kindda strange.... 2.15G/1.55V and it needs only .05V more to run a whole 200MHz more?!?Quote:

Weird :confused:
I wouldn't complain hehe :) sounds good to me :)Quote:

Well about that only extra 0,05V for 200 MHz. The guy gives exact readings of the voltage and not the voltage set in BIOS and the exact voltage is 1,63V at 2,35 GHz, so I concluded that that must have been 1,6V setting in BIOS (if it were my board, that would have been exactly right), but it could be possible that his MOBO undervolts and the setting was 1,65V, but I doubt it.
The latest from that proc:
2418 MHz (13 x 186 MHz) @ 1.7 V 45C on Volcano 7+ (full RPM), stable Prime 95 for 12 hours.
Its obviously reaching its plateau, since it took another 0,05V for just 78 MHz.
I think its just as good as yours Nyge. Have you tried OC-ing it with watercooling. 1.825 = ~2530 is a bit high for air right? Is that the absolute maximum, or do you think your chip has more to offer.

see my sig
my 1700+ : ( wc )
AXDA1700DLT3C
JUIHB0308XPMW
9740977281170
it can do: (with prime95)
2150 @ 1.45v
2400 @ 1.65v (perhaps more?)
2620 @ 1.9v
2645@ 1.95/1.97v
I just got my 0310 WPMW in today. :) Right now its running Prime95 at 2.2ghz (10x220) w/ 1.63vcore (actual--its 1.6 in bios). Im on air cooling with an SLK800 and Smartfan2. Ill post back with my final results later tonight. :D
That sounds pretty nice, let's hope it doens't "hit the wall" anytime soon. :)Quote:

Those were my thoughts exactly! :toast:Quote:

Yes, I have watercooling. Watertemp is around 28C. Strange is that neither of my two 1800+ seems to like above 1.85 volts. Same thing with my 2100+. Don't know if something else is wrong, or maybe it's just the cpu's. I believe if I could set voltage to 1.9, 2600 MHz would be reachable.Quote:

Think i have to try more when I feel for it :)
Anyone play with a
JUIHB0310XPMW
9740977281170
I am currently playing with a JUIHB0310XPMW. It is running @ 2701Mhz at 1.9v as I type this. Looks like a definate winner!!
Man, I can only get mine to 2.44ghz. Is that good for air cooling? Any suggestions u can give that would allow me to OC further?
I believe without H2O or Promie cooling most people are getting between 2.4-2.5, so what you have going is right on target. Nice job!
http://www.cclcomputers.co.uk/
Ordered a chip here because I read on www.overclockers.co.uk that a user had recently bought a week 12 of 03 dlt3c xp1800. They have just had a new batch (judging by the awaiting stock to in stock change). However I cant guarentee anything but it will be an xp1800+ tbred. Taking a bit of a gamble with my £53.35 delivered.
Wish me luck!:toast:
Update on mine: Its running Prime stable right now @ 2383mhz (10.5x227) w/ 1.8vcore. :D (All on air still)
http://webpages.charter.net/carmels/AXDADLT3C1700.jpg
Are you ready to rumble?
Wish me luck.
Good Luck, WxChaser!! :thumbsup:
Let us know how it goes.
I now have a DLTC3 0310 XPMW, right now its stable at 2125mhz with 1.5v.
I need to blow the 3rd and 5th L3 bridges befor I can go any higher though Becuz my fsb is maxed out.
I have some high hopes for this baby..!
Germany rocks so bad :D Have one 1800+ DLT3C running here in my Shuttle :)
I got my xp1800+ from CCL computers.
http://www.doomiii.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/xp1800+.jpg Pic Of new DLT3C 2300Mhz @ 1.7v with 20 min since first power on
This was only on another forumers experience - the site didn't even say tred b! Excellent. I think there is more puff in her yet! Sitting at 22'c with my watercooling as sig...
Edit: 2400Mhz with 1.89v (windows reading), better than 2400Mhz with 2.075v for my xp2400+!
You never know I may even need to unlock the higher multipliers! Max FSB w\out any Vdd mod = 204Mhz.
Just played UT2K3 for a botmatch 2500Mhz @ 2.075v. CPU 36'c, water temp 22'c. Idling now @ 33'c. 2500Mhz was not possible with xp2400+ (I didn't try 2.1v in bios, mobo overcolts 0.03v). This is what I was going for, when I bought this chip. Hooray!
http://www.doomiii.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/2_075v.jpg
Nice job megatron!
In the UK....www.cpucity.co.uk have the xp1700+ DLT3C guaranteed for sale, currently out of the XP1800+, takes the guesswork/luck out of the equation.
It's not often that we get what we are shooting for (or at least it's not all that often for me). Congrats! :toast:Quote:

I also finally hit my goal of 2.8 I had to up vcore all the way to 2.0 to get stable and change out the TTGI for a trueControl550
Nice work, TheDude! Congrats to you also! :toast:Quote:

very nice OC TheDude! how much did your prommie cost?
If I remember correctly, it was about $700 US and worth it.Quote:

wow! I better start saving!
it sure does look like it was worth it lol. :cool:
I have my XP1700 DLT3C 0322 MPMW
Runnin at 178x12.5=2225mhz volcano9 air cooled

This CPU is really good ... So far I got :
2411MHz @ 1.600V
2505MHz @ 1.650V
2651MHz @ 1.825V
SuperPI, PCMark2002, 3DMark03 stable ;) ...
BTW this is with bad waterblock (maze 1 style) I'm sure that with something like LRWW it will hit 2.7G+ ;) ...
:D
Prime95 is more intensive than the 3Dmark. 3Dmark is easy.. Even the superPi is more intense than the 3dmark,Quote:
Can you guys run 3Dmark without crashing? The speeds are impressive, but I wonder how stable.
I'm seriously thinking about buying one of these little wonders.
of course, with FSB being able to run by your system without problems.
You suppose to keep the FSB within operational range while testing for CPU stability.
yes, over 3 months old.Quote:

my 0310 at first seemed to oc good but now it seems to not want to run stable at 2400mhz? usaly these are verry good chips? hmm maybe i got a bad one? oh well it happens right?
peace perc,
Check my top rig specs...2637Mhz with simple whitewater cooling.
I have a 1700 DLT3C 0310 XPMW I'm installing on the same board for comparison this weekend (same cooling).
It will have to be after the Texas game though... Hook 'em....hope they do as well as this chip has!:p:
