Signed however in FM's defence they are not a huge organisation and only one person looks after the ORB and he has been on a 3 week vacation it seems.
They are getting more tardy with things though I agree, especially drivers. Considering it is the Orb that has made them so popular they need to make more effort in this regard in my opinion. Mind you as benchers we do see it from our viewpoint of course.
I've posted on their Orb section of the FM forums asking what is happening and suggesting that the limit for 2001 is raised to 100k. Knowing them being behind they'd probably put it up to 80k :D

why don't all of us send e-mails to futuremark demanding it?
i have paid versions of 05 & 06 and am sending one stating i will not buy the next if they don't immediatly reveiw drivers and new cpu offerings.:upset:

They won't allow you to post C2D results
Shader Particles (SM 3.0) does not work with ATI video cards, works fine with Nvidia.
None of this makes any sense...why all the bias?
and its sl9S8 ..stepping 6 B2 ...Quote:

The user's of the various OC forum of the Net I think.
I think that FM need us and we need FM.
I don't think that FM create bench programs just for fun.
IMHO
Also Silly has to respect other's opinion I think.Quote:

We need Futuremark to make the publish button availabe in the score above 70K quickly:(

We have more coming this weekend with CF in chilled water and maybe in the cascade if the X1900 cold bug could be controled with the VMods..:;)
WOAH!!!! I wish my project list looked like that.
One more comment out of Silly and he is gone. This is a public warning on your behavior and and insulting the general public.
If you dont like it here dont come back.

-Mentor-, that is a ss from MM?
IMHO, FM needs us, benchers, buyers, cometitors more then we need their lousy ORB. There is really no big deal to make a ledder like hwbot and has same functionality of ORB.
I really don't understand the ignorance of FM. Their ORB is below what would you expect from ladder: no way of differentiate between single or multi GPU, very late updates of new hardware, new drivers, some silly score limitations and so on and on.
Nevertheless poorly build 06 version and plenty of other software for benching and cometiting.
With al due respect, Mickey mouse can't pull of such clocks :)Quote:

seriously, think about it, how many average PC users benchmark their computers? FM depends on people that want to compete with the top of the line components.
With al due respect, Mickey Mouse just can ! His cpu is not so high, GPUs he can just got from Kingpin, it wouldn't be the first time :DQuote:

Pulling such clocks takes time and effort, he would be more than capable.
I'm with you on that one...I have faith that he would be able to pull it off.Quote:

FUGGER i know it's radical, but maybe it is time for petition with other forums to create alternate ORB. I am sure it is not that hard to program a system that can extract info from .3dp files and create a ladder, far more complete, without ignorance. And we even don't need to support FM and not buying licenced programs.
i'm all for that idea.:banana::banana::banana: FM
You don't need to buy Futuremark programs now unless you just have to publish 5000000000 scores at once.

IF we can't post C2D scores on the 7th, I might not buy a Pro version of the next FM benchmark, simple as that.
nice idea.Quote:

Im getting a e6600 in a week or two so i hope they unban conroe ..
Guys I'd relax. Nick at FM is usually very helpful in such matters, but unfortunately he's on vacation right now, as are some other admins. I'm sure this will be taken care of early this week.
so the world stops at FM when someone goes on vacation? very professional.Quote:

exactly. and this is the same typical lazy BS management of the ORB. its not like its just the banning of Conroe. as you said before fcg.... they need to get off their asses and approve current drivers when they come out, not months later. my scores with new nvidia drivers are over 90 marks higher than the FM approved drivers. and its been over a month since i ran those.Quote:

I'd like to see 70K+ scores.
Vacation or not, they needed 2 weeks from official launch of 1900XTX to enable publishing, around 3 weeks for 7950GX2, an milenium for actualy approve driver release.
C'mon, it's just silly, I don't know when I looked for top results directly on ORB, you just have to follow the action here, to really know who the top score or WR has !!!
how long did it take for am2?
As being the biggest 3d benchmark software available today, they should be able to activate it on day one. Atleast, that's what I request, I'm not really home in that business so I don't know it it's even possible to do.
Signed :)
