Nice work!
I doubt I'm gonna get a reply to this given how many people are just replying with congratulations, but here goes anyway...
- Was your BadAxe 304 modded?
- Is that "white box" X6800 genuinely retail or ES? (because CPUid says ES)
- How much do you rock?
:)
My human brain shuts off its understanding side after 5ghz :(
Perkam
nice results dude!
sweetness man! now youre like Pelé of overclocking. ;)
pwnage!!! :toast:
I think 1M SuperPi should be kept. Later in the future it'll be funny to see 3~ 5 sec 1M. The superPi has three decimal digits so it'll be fine.
Btw, Coolaler, I gave you Five stars for this thread.
Congratulations Coolaler and CBB OC Team, you beat the wonder boys of Team Japan on this landmark score :toast:
I had to read the thread title two or three times for it to sink in...this is astonishing...truely excellent work. :woot:
Under 10s marked forever!
OMG!! good job mate!
:woot: :slapass:  Cool man :)

Congratulations Coolaler ! :)
Sick...
:slobber:
no comment
any details ?
7900GTX SLI ? cooling of CG ?
...
:woot: you demolished the 3D01 record!
and still with relatively low gfx clocks
keep it up!
Haha, almost three WR's in one day! GLHF Cool.
someone should stick this thread
That's just awesome coolaler. I've been wondering who was gonna beat that 10s. :D 6Ghz is around the corner now. Keep up the good work!
why? its just result No one else has had a sticked oc results thread and other people have had other monumental records.Quote:

I wish I was rich... :slapass:
Wow, superb results there coolaler.
Keep up the good work!
C-BuZz
80k soon :slobber:
Very impressive.
Really impressive.
I like the '01 :D
Some awesome 3D you showing us :slobber:

sweeet !! i can feel that ln2's smoke
Coolaler is the best!!!!
AWSOME WR!!!
Btw what PSU were u using?

300fps in car low .. nice score ..is this the first 300fps car low in history ? That test is damn hard on the cpu.

HOT FZUCKIN POOP! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
WOW! that is insane. We were all waiting for it to happen.
Congrats coolaler!
nice 3d coolaler ;)
now get some more cooling on those gfx's :toast:
On this kind of setup Dragothic is the most sensitive, it needs lower clocks on the CPU than Car or Lobby to go trough. The highest CH is Kinc and Crotale's.Quote:

great b.day records coolaler, u r the one :D:D made my day ^^ :P
:slobber: Awesome as always coolaler
Those marks in CL and DL amazing
 @ 3D Results.
insane 3D scores for "only" 760mhz on the core,
now time for a better cooling and the 1.7V VGPUmod:D
get some better cooling on the vga, vmod the mobo and you can get all the WR
crap only 760 on the Gpu core:stick: Those are awesome results. 4G on air with 6600 step 5 and now this. Conroe should be realy fun to play with
Wow.Quote:

Congratulations, thats just sick :)
Coolaler what about puting your GTXs on LN2 also? GPUs lets say @1000/1100 would smash every single 3D WR with that CPU.
EDIT: OS optimization would also be very nice ;)
congrats coolaler:toast: :toast:
coolaler can u adopt half or the entire XS's cats like me? :D
78k 3D01 :slobber:
Coolaler = still n°1 :)
amazing score!!
you and metro are correct..Quote:

that is AMAZING! i dont know much about LN2 cooling, but how much of the nitrogen do u have to pour, and how often do u have to replace it so that the computer doesnt melt, haha :p
coolaler is pulling some crazy stuff with this conroe
Yeah he is... Great stuff and a goal for all us to aim at on these CPU's... :woot:
nice job! :toast: congrats for that.
Technology has gone quite far, hasn't it?
A 1,000,000 digit calculation in under 9 seconds.. by a home desktop processor!
I know it's clocked -- but hell, as long as it's possible I stay amazed, good on ya coolaler :D
That here at XS sounds great, but now you go and try to explain this to your family/friends.Quote:

I can't even imagine how high your scores would be with better cooling for those cards.
i wonder how many years untill sub 1 second... :fact:
lol... the POWER of Conroe! GJ Coolaler!!!!!!!!
C
Congrats Coolaler, amazing times and scores! Simply awesome...
I'd say 3 years...Quote:

@charlie: seeing it doesn't scale linearly, for sub 8sec you'll need some insane mhz. 7ghz? more? I can't find the magnific table found in other threads, there are tons of Conroe posts :D
That, counting that Conroe and Kentsfield benefit more from disabling core(s) to get mhz than by calculating the 1M with 2 or 4 cores, right?.
Maybe we need a multi core SuperPi ;)
I bet we'll see 6gHz LN2 Conroe/Kentsfield by the end of the year.Quote:

Congratulations new 2M WR, Coolaler:toast:
...Now you are trying sub 10minutes for 32M, aren't you?;)
My latest 2M time is 26.813s

I'll try it again with XMS2-6400C3:)
Congratulation!!!!!!! :slobber: :D
Hmm maybe in mhz, but in computing power is much less. In 1996 we had Pentium I 200mhz, P2 was released on May 7, 1997. I think Conroe is many more times than 10 "faster" than a Pentium 200. I would say it's 10 times more powerful, for not use "faster" than a Coppermine 1000? It was released on May 2000. Hard to tell, as each app/game will show different benefits from new features.Quote:

LOL Charlie.. you crack me up... There is a Conroe SuperPi1M scaling graph around somewhere... try and extrapolate where 8s would be (hint: its way off the scale).Quote:

technically, its sub 10 sec. And calling it a "home desktop processor" is misleading... considering all the LN2 and mad overclocking skills that I'm sure went into this project.Quote:

Also a bit more relevant, since with ~33MB of memory used, its not just a test of Conroe's L2 cache.Quote:

Afterall, all these overclocking records and Intel still hasn't officially released Conroe to the public!
Coolaler, thanks for the SP4M screenie.. that 1.02.406 really hit the spot.. ever so close ;)
spi 1m result@today just tie the WR@9.828s(5266mhz last time)
but this time is 5200mhz@9.828s

You really are producing some awesome OC results coolaler! With those extra 66MHz maybe you could push that WR to 9.6s?? :)
