Wow, simply amazing! That is an amazing achievement. Everyone has been trying to bust the 10's for a while now! :toast:
:party::party::party::party::party:You can try one million times more and you won't get 10.000000s again :DQuote:

Congrats coolaler :toast:
Quite an achievement. No matter what happens after the Conroes get into the retail channels, you'll always be the guy to get under 10 seconds first. Congrats.
 i wan`t one soo bad !
That was a big milestone, I don't think we will see 8.xx anytime soon :) Hmm I wonder what clock it was 3d stable ? I guess <5 Ghz , so far nobody reached 5 Ghz at 3D benches, let's say 3DMark01SE with 5 Ghz Conroe, it would be really nice to see :)
Yes, no matter what I do I can't enter the english website, it redirects me to es.inquirer.net. And no, before someone suggest that, I don't plan to change my locale settings for TheInq :DQuote:

It is SOOOO sweet, that it was an Intel CPU to do this. :D Intel realy has hit the head on the nail with their Pentium-M arcitecture, and nw they do it again with Conroe. Looking forward to see if there is more improvements in Kentsfield.
Would be interesting to see, if you could squeeze a couple a hundred MHz more out of it with one core disabled. :o
Congrats!
 i think he will break again, 1.8V 5.5G , mem 1000,cl3,he got great channel x6800, so maybe retail will better than all es;)Quote:

9s....OMG!
May I ask, does that boxed-cooler SUCK as bad as the the ones that came with the earlier s775 processors?
It finally has been done
So many people screaming for it for the last couple of weeks. In the end : not TAM but coolaler has done it. Unbelievable ! Respect man
Gotta be happy with that white box - time to get on board. Congrats.
Congrats to you on your accomplishment Coolaler! Awesome job.
Freaking awesome man. Great job and congrats on the WR!!!
All of you LN2 cooling guys must be in a state of utopia. :D
AMD doesn't have anything on the roadmap that would come quickly enough to do this. Maybe K8L will be able to do sub 10s runs but we'll see.Quote:

So I've seen some of the x6800's that can't go over 11x. This kind of confirms the boxed version will have more upward multi? Or did I miss something?
i think its just a matter of bios/board, all x6800s have unlocked multisQuote:
