That's pretty darn small. What temperatures does that provide you?

Box brake sounds good until we get into thinking about dies... If you noticed, 2nd and 3rd bends are not that simple anymore... need die made... Plasma cutter, Hot damn it. I wouldn't mind having one, I wouldn't mind having bender.... fact of life is, in S. Cal space is premium. I really don't have much space left whatsoever now that Mill is taking nice chunk and laser engraver too.... CNC Plasma cutter will eat up rest of my workable shop space...
ya should be able to get a cascade in there if using plate hx and 2 rotaries, looks similar size to my cascade minus the bottom section.Quote:

It is possible to use it for small cascade too ;)

All Bends on a case can be made using a Box & Pan brake, they are a must have tool for cases.
They have removable fingers for different widths, and the witdts of the fingers also vary.
If you don't want to spring for a cnc plasma cutter, you can buy a jump shear and uses electrical knockout punches to make the holes, they are made in round ,square & retangular sizes. even custom, but those would be expensive.
ps: you can buy a convertable cnc table that that moves in X,Y & Z axix's.you can interchange a plasma cutter, laser cutter or a router for wood or plastics and the like
picture is a 48" 12 gage box and pan brake, notice the removable fingers. that will bend 1/8 steel its entire width, one that heavey is not needed for cases.
the above brake is a pexto, very industrial and expensive.
here's a grizzly tools(import) 16 gage box and pan brake 575.00
looks really hard to use or maybe its just me :)
It's just you ;) they are simple ,you slide the metal under the fingers, pull lever to clamp metal, lift apron to break(bend)metal to desired angle.Quote:

well now I just need to have $600 fall out of the sky and I am all set =/
Painted cases black and metalic black colour.

They just get better and better....
Nice work!
i would suggest you to go for bigger condenser, those 700w condenser limits you really much when it comes to choice of compressor. both for SS as well as autocascade.
I tried once to build rotary SS with 14k btu rotary and this condenser, it was way to weak, ended up with a 1.5kw condenser and that was what was needed.

Tim
Sexy new revision....
YGPM.
Is it possible for you to replicate the black anodized metal look of the Lian-Li Cases?
What are the exact dimensions of these cases, since I'm thinking about adding a small case for my watercooling, but am not sure whether I'll just buy another Lian-LI PC60 and cut that in half or get a pre-made case for this.
Nice :)
The single stage case is still the same revision as mine, right?
nice work LD, what size STUV condensers do you use with the rotary compressors??
dimensions?
holy :banana::banana::banana::banana:
Now that's Smokin
