Any place to buy that board?
pretty video card Kingpin...very pretty!!!
Congratz
Congratulations Vince!
Impressive like everitime:toast:
When you fire it up and it recongnizes that you have NV cards, it activates linkboost which boost pci-e automatically and lock to 125mhz. YOu are now able to overclock the card from stock to 940-450 without sweating the pci-ex frequencies....It's very nice so we can now see the true power of the cards in SLI.Quote:

This is a perfect situation where 1t comes in handy to give nice boost when forced to run low HT/mem speed because of cold bug.
Nice ram. I was getting exactly 18040 with CPU at 18x202, ram at 404 with 4-4-3-5 timings. Looks like tighter timings is a boost.
Then again it could be I just suck at 3D:D

Great benching!! AM2 compliments the a64 platform nicely.
You'll love it OPP...give you all the options you need for working the cold bugged chips. This chip is a BEYOTCH. Be sure to run the C3 in the blue slots when going for LL :DQuote:

This Corsair 6400C3 is great stuff my friend:DQuote:

That's it for my 7900 cards. I need new ones with good memory before I bench again.

BJ will be a tough hunt, Samsung stopped producing them but if you're lucky you might find some.
I've seen BC doing almost as well as BJ lately.
Nice updates for AM2 considering still pretty slow cpu speed. Cards are really screaming now:
New 03 WR:

Almost 13k 06 with only 3570mhz on FX62 @-40c:

Nearly 20k 05' / 3570mhz:

Should have new 06 WR' with the cpu stable over 3640mhz soon with about -50c load temps...here is some 05 testing cpu max mhz with 3-3-3-5-2t on the CORSAIR 6400 C3:

BTW-- Ntune 5.0 rocks for changin setting in windows on this setup like mem timings/volts/pcie-mhz/htt/and on and on. Pretty nice software.
So NTune IS safe to use now?
BTW very nice scores :D.
what volts are you using on the 7900gtxs?
Are you going full force with the ln2 on them or are you keeping them at a certain temp?
thanks
*edit*
noticed you were at stock mem, thats insane. What bios are you using? stock xfx?
Not full force yet vapb, 03' was run around -95c. 06' and 05' about -85c. If the load isnt enough for the temps, the cards will lock at a certain point. It will be babysteps on clocking them from this point on. I would love to see the set doing close to 1100/1100 in SLI 1.8v+core below -100c for 05' and 06', maybe a little lower for 03' on final runs. Because 06' and especially 05' are so cpu bound with this gpu power, I am seeing big gains from small bumps in cpu mhz in all tests, including mostly gpu favored ones. 200mhz more in cpu power = HUGE gains in 06' sm2.0 and sm3.0 tests as well as gt2 and gt3 in 05'Quote:

Awesome scores....
Oh! my GOD!
GPU 1038Mhz ~~ good jod !
haha nice vince , im thinking ure holding back on the gfx's :p .
how mutch vgpu and vdd do u give those babys ?
bud i like the 03 score , how didt u work out the coldbug on the fx ? first coldbug @ -20°c . and now -40°c :p
Realy nice:)
maybe he bought a new chip :p:, hopefully he shares it :D
I still can't get over those insane gpu clocks
Go Vinny:toast:
Good to see you started in on some 05, 06 action.

:D I joined the AM2 party a little late bro. I bet same for Sham.Quote:

Looking good Vince :D
Just got a FX-62 today. Tested it with Corsair CMX2 PC8500 (runs better then PC8000UL). 3-3-3-5 1T runs great up to 430. 3-3-3-5 2T works fine up to 470MHz). But it looks like AM2 is in need of high freq more so the timings in the shot below were actually best for spi and 3dmark (more for 3dmark). Stock air cooler with ambient temp at 18-20C :) The new rev (the one in retail) of ASUS M2N232-SLI Deulxe is a really solid board, a dream for Quad-SLI ;)

I guess with subzero one have to run 3-3-3-5 with DDR800 to be able to raise the cpu freq high enough though, if even that lucky :(
nice run Marc
go higher
Sorry to say but with S939, 3288MHz with some halfdecent timings takes you into 24's for 1M calculation.
I heard you had some new toys to play with Marcus :)Quote:

Your exactly right about subzero...since we are forced to run such low htt/mem speed with coldbug, 3-3-3-5-1T is best option when you are limited to mem speed around 800mhz. Over 3616mhz and below a certain temp, the mem controller on my 62 won't even run 1t :(.
Have you tried to freeze your chip yet? My chip has been pretty difficult to run cold. I'm nearly stable in 3D @3672mhz now. Should have some more updates today.
