after a lot of reading ppl say under 1.4V is safe. So like 1.38 and lower is good. That is what I currently have but trying to get past 4.2Ghz without increasing the cpu vcore.
you got any ideas lol?

is 1.296v at 4275Mhz any good ?
this is on a Asus P5B Dlx
well i made sure to find out what i was getting they still had a hand full left at http://www.centralcomputers.com/index.htm they got where you can IM them and they checked the sSpec Numbers to make sure it was a E0 and also gave me the Q822A537 Pack Date 8/7/07 there others are the same they have left its a lil more then newegg but they couldnt find out and i didnt wanna take that 50/50 chance ;)
well it rebooted last night lol but just passed a intelburntest at 5 times at max but need to work on the mobo settings cuz highest in windows was 7.5x575fsb :D killed that 480 i max on the E6400 and X3350 i had
but might still get a P5Q Dlx or MAX II idk yet might wait for i7 to come out for and old P965 it still works P5B Dlx
also whats the 24/7 mac vcore you go by ? 1.38- ?
My 8500: SL9BK 827A288 Pack Date: 08/07/08
450x9 1.33750v 1.54 PLL
Would it be a bad idea to run 1.42 24/7 if my temp arent too bad?
My max Pi on air :D

So what do you guys think?? 4.2Ghz is my max on 1.38Volts on the CPU?
I saw E8500 C0s hittin 4.4+ on same volts in previous pages.. E8400 C0s too.
Well I'm a little pissed and happy about my parents new PC. It runs cool and overclocks well. Unfortunately their E8400 overclocks a lot better than mine.
vCore: 1.25V (BIOS)

Mine (C0) needs ~1.4V in order to become stable at 4.0Ghz. :shakes:
good with 1.232v
Well, why don't you change the cpu,i'm sure that for them it's the same thing :D
Why dont you just swap them as said ^
I belive that your parents doesnt do much whit high oc'd dual core chip :D
Lol, you guys are too sweet.
Yeah I told them and honestly they wouldn't care. To be honest, I want them to have a relatively 'cool' computer since it gets somewhat hot in their office and I need a chip that can sustain low voltages at higher frequencies.
That said, I will most likely just sell my E8400 in hoping that I can get a E0 someplace else. *crosses fingers*
Their PC specs:
Asus P5Q Pro
E8400 E0 (8x500, E0 stepping, 1.25V)
OCZ Vendetta 2 (using my custom bolt kit, does the job well)
2x1GB Patriot PC2-8500 (crappy overclockers but I had some spare sticks so I decided to use them.. ;))
WD 320GB HDD
Samsung 22X DVD writer
Corsair 620HX
BFG 8800GT OC (sounds funny but came from my build after I upgrade to an 8800GTX)
All inside a 1 1/2 year old Thermaltake Armor. :)
