damn ridney very nice.
10-24mm Tamron ?
the way you did the lighting makes it look like the background is just fake, like its a backdrop in a studio. - which is not a bad thing, it is just the way the picture came out.
did you do some without the heavy flash? so it looks more like natural sunlight.
If you think of it, next time dont forget to cleat out stuff that dont belong, like run behind her and kick away that palm leaf thats sticking out.
if you have photoshop you can remove it.
i am going to cheat and post 2 since i missed a few days.
the tiny dot in the center of the 2nd picture is not the spider, it was something he was eating.
he took off once i got about 8ft from him. which he has done 3 days in a row.
i have to use my 85mm and even then its not zoomed enough.
have to break out my 135mm f/2.8 M42 lens tomorrow and see if i can get a clean shot.

can anyone help me out... how can i reduce purple fringing in photoshop when the shot is jpeg (i dont shoot raw much unless its important)
the 85mm 1.8, bless its little heart is a great lens but damn the fringing is horrible when outside.
as you can see my picture is riddled with chromatic aberation(s)

thanks metric, will ry it
sam beautiful stuff!
that mantis, was being very photogenic or maybe just eye balling me alot, so i ran in real fast to grab my 24mm macro and when i came back out, not 30sec later he was gone........ i really wanted to get some super close stuff of him coming at the lens (because i would have been pissing him off being an inch away)
