This thread delivers! Go go Coolaler.
coolaler any chance you could do the 64-bit Sciencemark test? Thanks for all the results so far!

I have a question, is it true that you cant change the vcore in this mobo??
Tks
Quite true. Still too new and the bios does not support it But look how far he got without it...Quote:

THX Coolaler for some 64bit benches.:)
Fugger mentioned in another post I think that you can disable one core in the Bios and that will mean that the one core thats running can utilize all 4MB cache for itself.
Is that posible with this motherboard ?
why don't this chip have extended mmx on it?
I made a test to see the cache impact on large, medium and small data. In my zip file (actualy it is a rar archive renamed to zip) I have 6 executable in which a square matrix of 8000*8000 (or 4000*4000 or 2000*2000 or 1000*1000 or 500*500 or 250*250) is passed by n times in 2 ways and in each pass all the elements are incremented by 1 (n is between 10 and 10240 so all the passes to have the same number of iterations):
- first time the matrix is passed line by line
- second time the matrix is passed column by column (cache line breaking - a common mistake in programming)
Time is shown in seconds and the number in the executable name represents the matrix size. Please run the tests on Conroe or Merom (at least the ones with 1000*1000 and 8000*8000 matrixes and post the results).
no option in MSI MOBO BIOSQuote:

Because he can't change the voltage. Conroe isn't out until July, the motherboards don't support all the overclocking features yet.
It's all in the thread, maybe you'd like to read it.Quote:

coolaler , If you keep publishing results like you do ... I expect by the end of the month ... 12sec 1mb pi .... ;)
