Anyone seen a week 10 already?
I'm currently still testing the cpu , I will keep you updated about the OC capabilities.
I see drunkencarlos has the same stepping.
Although you got a "T" chip , mine's "N"

yes , I know :-)
But I'm not convinced the N chips are any better, like you seem to think.
I believe T chips scale better with more vcore .
N chips like low vcore , until you reach the sweetspot , then you need a lot more juice to clock any higher.
This is all theory and speculation , of course...
Stone cold Jimi!
Thank you for your efforts for making this list and I am really sorry for your loss.
Perhaps some members want to use a spreadsheet for slicing and dicing according to their needs. For instance, last night I was interested in a 0601 LDBHE TPMW for my mach1 but when I looked into your list thought that perhaps UPMW is better.
Anyways, I prepared a spreadsheet as can be seen in the attachment. Please feel free to change or edit it.
Also, I wish we had something like this thread for 170/175.
PS: I did exclude some results (cannot remember now how many, but perhaps 3 or 4 in total)
Thanks again.
ooztuncer,
Cheers dude, Mate i have a FPMW just for reference.
Nice work. :)
OOOooo yeah got my little 0607UPMW type "N".
I'm currently testing it. So far doing 2.4 easy.
I'm running the ram below. 2gb setup comming next week.

Picked myself up an LDBFE 0610 TPFW -0032 'N' chip....
Anyone got a feeling what it might be capable of?
T and N mean nothing.Quote:

and i thought i had a bad core :pQuote:

if u have the cooling, just put the vcore up ...it helps :)Quote:

bad second core right here, i guessQuote:

That's thoroughly excellent of you - you've done the last step that I was too darn lazy to take! Much appreciated and immediately purloined and pasted into a jpg on post #1, in place of the original list (hope that's agreeable).Quote:

Only higher models (like X2 4400) have the heatpipe cooler.
my chip is not overclocking great so far . stepping LDBFE 0610 UPMW
(still testing , could be a crappy PSU spioling the fun. )
currently running 262x10 @1.488 (8h dual prime stable)
All my attempts for 2700Mhz failed so far, I always have windows locking up.
System is freezing after a few minutes dual priming, have to reset manually.
It could be because of a crappy PSU : I see 3,3v dropping to 3,26v , 12v -> 11,71v :eek: It's a Tagan 480W (single 12v , 28A) , but could be going bad because of age maybe ?
I'm going to buy a better PSU , like the Seasonic 600W.
tagan 480 should more than power your lot.
I have a Hiper 480W Powering my spec, which is dual 12v rails (15A and 16A) and i can run my cpu up at 2.9ghz with 1.55v, easily.
Check the voltage rails with a DMM and i bet they will be fairly close to their rated specs. It is probably just a bad cpu, or badly cooled (but you say you have water?)
Best to sell and get one of the early 060x ones (0601 being creme de la creme, i think).
Tagan 480 should do the job, but could it be going bad because of age?
This PSU has been running 24/7 for more than 2 years now , could be EOL now , no:p:
