I tried 6/4 and it froze immediately. Maybe I'll need to change some secondary timings.....MBM5? All I did was change mobo's on the same windows install I had before and it worked fine, BUT now I'm getting weird things happening with the Dashboard such as it flickering or not even showing on the destop...Quote:

No one tried the 1125 bios yet?
Are there any official BIOSes beyond the original shipping BIOS? I haven't tried anyhting else as I'm not having any issues. But I am curious.
No... There r two Betas => 1711 and 2511
mean your redline ce-6 couldn't o/c on the expert ? expected mine to arrive soon and hope it'd reach 262 mem clock :stick: :stick:Quote:

the 11/25 bios flashed BUT when i went through the bios the first screen that shows the time and storage drives, the screen to the right was all messed up, instead of giving a description it gave me stuff like this (-// ΓΏ{)
also the performance was not there my benchy were slower :( But that is just my experience every setup is different.
Also does anyone else have to move there vga cable to the top video card to see the screen after clearing cmos and a new bios flash ???? and then after you setup the bios to auto broudcast you need to move it to the bottom video card ????? or you do not see windows. Thanks

I don't know what's up with that. For some reason my PI times are ALWAYS slower then they should be. I thought the new board would fix that but it didn't.Quote:

What OS are you using? Server 2003 is better than XP Pro in 32M.
I'm using XP home SP2, wonder what eva is running  I think hes running XP as well though :slap:
Try setting Trrd at 2 instead of 0. I think it's a little faster.
I have this 3500+ that's not a great overclocker. But I've gotten an extra 50MHz out of it using the Expert board. This is with single-stage cooling.

I'll try trrd 2 but I think my problem is something bigger than that I just don't have a clue what... :slap:
Have you got a copy of XP Pr0 ???, I dont even know anyone who uses XP Home so maybe thats your problem :)Quote:

I have tried to tweak the ram setting but all I gain was more confusing as first I had need 2.7v to pass 3d05 @ 250 and yesterday I succeed it with only 2.62v but still can't run more than 4M Spi, 8M failled.
ps: :woot: trouble solved
It was caused by the crapy NVIDIA IDE drivers .
:stick: Nvidia :slapass: .
Hmmm I actually installed them this time and have found no problems (see my sig), though I might try to uninstall them and test for any difference :)Quote:

It really sux that it'll be a good while before I can afford to build an actual OC'ing rig again...but I guess it just leaves more time for prices to drop and new toys to hit the shelves.
