I tried an Asus bios on my eVGA's (SLI mode) and that didn't work so your assumption is correct.Quote:

What I'd like to know is how some of you are able to use modified bios with higher voltages.
I've tried many times but I can't even get to Windows or I loose SLI mode altogether...
Check list for next week:
20 liters of LN2 [x] ok
10 kg of dry ice [x] ok
4 x GeForce 6800 Ultra [x] ok
yeah looks like i just scraped in to both lists at 10th place with my 3500+ clawhammer LOL still waiting for fx-55 that does 3ghz water, hopefully soon :)Quote:

Still incomplete, but they should be ready quite soon.
The bigger one can hoard almost one litre of LN2 inside it :D
We also received a quad vacuum LN2 bottle with 120L capacity ;)
That should be able to keep the life force inside the bottle pretty long...
that's nice :DQuote:

4 geforces, that's alot, gonna pick the best ones and the dry ice for the cpu?
But if you can get incredibel card clocks like Lardarse, I sure there wil lbe some nice score soon.
Love to watch the SLI battle
Finally take 6600gt sli 3dmark 05 orb#1

I decided to give it a rest and I am retiring from SLI for now. I think I've pushed the absolute limits for SLI in a 24/7 day to day rig with today's available technology. The only folks scoring better now are the pure benchers...so I'm pretty happy with what I've been able to do with a real running PC.
The gaming rig is being parted out and the Asus cards have been sold. I'll be going back to a basic single card system for a while now and waiting for the next generation of hardware to emerge. Its been fun and I wanna wish everyone the best of luck in pursuing the most extreme SLI scores on the planet :toast:
darn.. oh well... hope those Asus cards went to a good home :)Quote:

656 is very nice :toast:Quote:

Ok you guys are bulldozing over me, I haven't even got the other card figured out yet...
661 core :slobber:
I think they may have went back for a few more runs after you mentioned the 656 core. The gauntlet was on the ground. They responded with a slap and 661 core :DQuote:

I got the XFX + Asus cards working together
http://www.vr-zone.com.sg/Shamino/xfxsli/3.jpg
CPU @ -94C, GPU 1 @ -55C, GPU 2 @ -91C. GPU1 on R22/R22 until I get a better heat exchanger + oil seperator for R1150
Weird :banana::banana::banana:e I can't publish, and the cards are detected as 6800GTs

These are with 66.93s.
Looks like the Asus bioses pack a bigger punch :D
Lower core clocks than you of course but better scores, here are the compares for the time being

Hope I can sort out that publish issue soon!

Worse come to worse a reformat should fix it...

It's frustrating to say the least. So I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for you guys with these SLI WRs. Good luck! It's really heating up around here. :toast:

It's the tweak found in NVHardPage under the advanced anisotropy settings called "force MIP to lowest level" or something. It's pretty bad as it makes the entire bench almost without textures. Basically you can't see the tests being run, at the end you still get your score though. It's not really a cheat so much because you still run the tests and youre not faking anything. But it is obviously a bit more than using LOD too. Either way you can see how it affects the score from my other scores there. It boosts 200 hundred points at least.
Reinstalled 3dm and rebenched, finally got the publish bug solved :)

Weird thing is that they're recognized as 6800GT while the details list as 6800 series.
Hello shamino :D
