that iwaki could handle all of those blocks, but it would be overkill. If you dont need insane cooling on them I suggest you run 8 maze4's as they are decent performers, and offer very low flow restriction. you could probably run on a MD30RLT on all 8 blocks and with thedual monstercores and get plenty of flow. granted this is a prediciton as i dont have any test data available on such things, but it should be fine. just dont expect amazing performance out of it.

Is this to much pump for a PC water cooling setup with 3 waterblocks, a quad heater core with 4 120mm fans from Voyeur and probably 10ft to 12 ft of tubing seeing as I would have to hang the rad about 4ft from my rig? Because a friend has one he is willing to sell me for $40. If I could get by this cheap on a fantastic pump, I can use the best waterclocks I can get my grubby little hands on.

its a bit loud in my cellar atm, with all 8 HSF running at a nice 14.2v :)

a few things to consider ....

what is the 40's max pressure vs. the burst pressure of your loop components

do you have the room for it

how nuch heat does it add compared to heat added by other components

what kind of shape is it in

why is your friend want to sell an expensive pump for $40

Thanks for the reply m8. I pm'd MaxxRacer and he told me this particular pump was way too much. I will be going with the WMD20RLT. I seen a reservour that fits in the 5 1/4" drive bay that has 4 inlet or return connections. I belive I am going to make use of these by coming off the pump with 3 threaded tees and a plug for the end of that run. Each T will supply water to each water block and I will connect the out on each water block to the reservour seperately. Just seems this way that the water is only heated up by that one waterblock and then emptied into the reservour.

I'll will tell you guys, I am having a blast putting this together It's all on paper and in my mind as of now, but I believe when I get done, I will have a really well performing cooling system. I am going to try my best to make it look as good as it will perform. And I owe it all to this forum and all of you guys that have posted and shared info in many threads. I will be ordering tomorrow. WooHoo!

I have Swiftech Storm G4 block, MCP-655 and Blakc Ice Extreme 2 radiator, but I want to know how can I overvolt this pump and what kind of result I should expect if I run 2 MCP-655 in series with a WEAPON core.

Anyone know if there is anywhere in the UK that i could get hold of an Iwaki from? those things are just awesome

look for an online aquarium supply in the UK.. any large supplier will have Iwaki's.

Try and call them, the Swedish branch of Iwaki sells to the public so the UK branch should too. But the prices could be high compared to Ebay prices :D

I was just about to suggest that.. the UK branch of Iwaki part..

Iwaki is generally VERY helpful if u call them. one of the guys on the forums called iwaki one time and had a few techy questions.. so iwaki puts him on the phone with one of the engineers who designed the pump in question.. pretty amazing customer service if u ask me.

Hey guys im pretty new to the w/c scene but moonlightcheese kindly pointed me in this direction for a pump. Now I havent bought my watercooling kit yet but this is what I was planning on buying:

Black Ice Extreme II 1/2"
Fass 'o' Matic
UV Blue Revealing 25ml ( not sure if its good to use )
( I dont know wether to use Water Wetter or Zerex )

What pump would you reccomend me getting for my setup, im mainly looking for cooler temps so I can overclock safely etc..

And as for UV dye, ive been told its bad for the system and ruins the tubes ? Is that true ? but I wanted to add some colour to the loop because imo standard water looks a bitt dull :p:

will AquaXtreme 50Z handle Swifty G4 and Fusion HL?

that is the right one..

50Z will handle it, but u wont get great flowrates. if u want xtreme the MD20RLZ is the one to get.

20rlz wont go cause of the price... its like 180$ +(

i think the 50Z will be fine. the iwakis are a bit extreme and aren't really necessary. 10ft of head should be plenty since you only have those two components in the loop. now if you had a BIX3, chipset block, G4, and two fusion HLs in SLI, then i'd get an iwaki. for your setup, 50Z should be fine.
