man, I nabbed a kit of 4x2GB g.skill eco 1600mhz clocks really well (PSC) once I flashed it to 2300 c8 (not joking, but bad timing) before they wouldnt post 1.84v now 1.92 runs 2600 8-12-8 tight easily.
What did you use to flash?
I'd be interested to know that as well, I'd like to try flashing some of my G.Skill PSC sticks with an XMP profile from one of the higher bins and see how they work.
Two options: buy Thaiphoon Burner license or get a 775+DDR3 board and use SPDtool.
I had PSC with corrupt SPD back in ~2012, flashing it with anything from Kingston 1333 value to 2200C7 PI did not change the MHz/volt at all, so don't hope to see any miracles.
why not RW tool sam? works on any platform
it will not make crap ram epic, but it my case its made good ram great. In Eco's alone it has raised my voltage wall enough to run them 2600 8-12-8 when before over 1.8v was unstable.
What's RW? Can you link me to it? :)

If you're talking about this Read Write Utility @ Softpedia then it's the same :p
If not, then Sam's question is still valid and I want to know its answer too :D
FYI that same seller I bought the 2133C8 sticks from (still en route) has some other interesting kits:
http://stores.ebay.com/Smart-Compute...=p4634.c0.m322
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OCZ-Blade-ST...item19e9e78c68
BBSE? Hypers?
Seen a kit like these (or this exact set) sell for 60€ back in January - it seems to have been BBSE and not of too good quality. Generally, I'm trying to keep massively overpriced offers like this out of the thread.
I gave him a call since i have his number from a while back while i wanted to buy some bbse perfect storm.Anyways i don't know what he is selling, but he told me that the sticker is 2000 9-9-9 and on spd is 2200 8-9-8 ?? Also the price is ...too damn high...

The earliest I've seen T-series appear on G.Skill was week1020-1025 when they actually started using them on 1600 7-8-7 Ripjaws and Ecos. Doesn't mean that newer kits can't be X-series (some of them actually are) but I would imagine that anything past week1020 would have at most 50% chance of X-series as G.Skill might have wanted to preserve these for higher spec'ced kits, on which they couldn't use T-series.

Two 2x2GB kits of Hyper based Super Talent DDR2-2200 CL8 just sold for $300. And I thought I was the only one that still liked them. :)
I've seen multiple 2200C8 kits in the wild and none of them would be able to do the 2000C7 spec, which doesn't qualify them for good Hypers in my book.
Whoever bought them must have wanted them real bad, I just made a few lowball bids as on potential candidates for 2V+ Z87 experiments.

Haven't seen any OCZ Blade sticks in ages.
I just sold two Blade triple kits, so I guess it depends on to know where to look ^^ and nice catch on the 2200s, price is OK
Yep, really pricey, although I have one 2x2GB 2200C8 and they are pretty good. Can't match my GTX2's, especially on the voltage required, but still the second best Hypers I've ever had.
Bought the Crucials listed in your post. Hopefully they are PSC's as my other Ballistix kit, which actually isn't bad.
At least they have pretty heatsinks and won't be too hard to sell :D
I've seen 2-3 kits last year, but never bid on any of them. However I recently bought 2000C7 triple kit from a local forum.
