Thanks OC Nub for your help
but unfortunately does not work...with 1.400 and 1.450
Is this your memory? Only gskill kit I see when searching rated at 2133 1.6v is c11 ripjaws x. You have c9 set and 1.6vdimm.

Yes 1.6vdimm

was this stable or just a screen shot? If your mem is rated 1.65v, try 1.65v.
Also, how high did you go up on vcore? You may need a big bump to get 5ghz, otherwise your chip looks to be good, 4.9ghz 1.4vcore.
sent you a pm Vensent.
My 3930k finally got in. Has anyone needed to sand their IHS?
Seems like LinX is passing at 30GB+ for me now, although it takes longer than what it should take and the gflops seem too low at larger amounts of memory (~125 at 30000, ~160 at 7000). Temps are hitting 70C since I'm still on air, so maybe throttling is the cause?

162 Gflops with 6 cores and HT enabled is about right. You can get higher Gflops without HT.
I wouldn't think you're throttling at 162 Gflops with HT. But it is easier to tell if you run LinX for a few loops to see if you have variation.
Are you putting a fan over your VRM?
S4ppire-That is about right. Everyones does the same, IE drops with memory stressed above about 8k allocated. I am defo not throttling as VRM is watercooled and mine follows a similar pattern. As does several other users I know. Try it at stock and it still follows this Gflops pattern, I.E above 8k Gfolps drop. Maybe a new Linx Library is needed for Sandybridge E to stop this happening??? I have the latest as I am sure you do but this came out before Sandy E.
That would explain a lot pazza.. I was aware that fluctuations were quite common, but a drop from 162 to 125 seemed rather massive. I'm gonna check how much it drops at stock.
Edit: Tested with fail-safe settings at 100x44@2133CL11. You were right, definitely not throttling related. Shame I don't have better dimms, the CPU is handling 32GB at 2400 like a champ but the memories are CL11 2133.. :(
On another note, has anyone else gotten USB malfunction messages during LinX?

Just picked up two Sapphire 7970 for my RIVE system.
There is a problem with instaling on this motherborad...
The computer recongnizes the cards as 16 mb. The driver instals bud stil is 16 mb?? Tried with different ati drivers, format reinstal and windos still the same..
Tried each card separate, no different.
Updated to the newst bios didint solve the problem..
Did I miss something with the RIVE and 7970? Is it compatible att all? Is there a special bios setting for this motherboard running 7970?
Thanks
this is the latest ive been testing a lot with 7970s:

Thank you for the reply but im already running that bios.
Seems like instaling the ATI driver that came with the bundle solved my problem. :)
No I have no USB malfunction on Linx mate and I am 5.125ghz CPU , 2333mhz RAM stable. What is showing this ?? Windows??? Are you sure your DIMMS wont clock to 2400mhz my Ripjawz 2133mhz will do well above that Linx and Prime stable at 10-11-10-28, with CPU speed well above 5ghz.
Just the BIOS 1101 Oficial for the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme.
