GREAT OC !!
Can you share your BIOS settins from this OC result. I' curious about voltages (NB, CPU, HT, MEM) and memory timings. I have similar setup as you. What kind of CPU voltage your mobo is setting on AUTO.

ASrock messed up with the 890GX, I had amasing clockability with the early biosses. Though once they focused on Thuban they messed some codes up... loosing even 1800C6 action...
I hope they can get their act together and clear up some of the mess they made...
This is a great board
If you still can find it (eSys, Asbis), then VX/HX450W or greater for 500HRK,
or get from Links the LC Power GP3 series of 560W, its amazeing.
I have the 460W GP3 model and i run the 4870x2 with no problem,
then i get the "juice sucker" 3870x2, and no problem.
Then i moved to the 2x 250GTS, still no problem.
Then i got to the 3x 4850HD, and the PSU wasnt enough (keept restarting in furmark).
But seriously, LC-Power 560W with 80+ Bronze cert., great PSU.
PS - If You willing to pay some more, look for the Ozeanos Metatron 650W modular.
2x 460GTX 1gb MSI Cyclone with no problem (i5 760 @ 4GHz, ASRock P55 Extreme4, 2x 4GB Corsair XMS3 1333 CL9-9-9-24, 64GB SSD Corsair + 2TB WD Green, and some other stuff).
Works like a charm.
PS - I have 2x 8800GT working with my old SmartBox from 2006, made by CWT (CWT 420W is inside). The new smartbox with black label is peace of :banana::banana::banana:.
I'm done. I cannot get more than 3500MHz on my 1055T.
My actual and stable settings are:
Cpu Frequency: 250MHz
CPU Multiplier: x14
CPU Clock: 3500MHz
CPU Voltage: 1.4V
NB Multiplier: x9 (2250MHz)
CPU-NB voltage: 1.35V
HT Multiplier: x8 (2000MHz)
Memory Clock 3/8: 1333MHz (8-8-8-24 2T)
Memory Voltage: 1.63V
CPU VDDA: 2.7V
I've tried on bios 2.50 and 2.42B. I've tried rising CPU-NB and Vcore voltage up to 1.45V and still cannot go past 3500MHz stable. I'm testing stability using Linx. Cooling is not a problem because CPU temperature is always under 55 degrees (hwmonitor). PSU is not the problem because it's powerfull Seasonic M12-D 850W. Memory is Adata 1600 Plus and it goes up to 1600MHz on CPU multiplier x10.
So what can be the problem with stability >3500MHz ? Any help ?
No cooler is not the reason. On BOX cooler it was a problem, because after 59 degrees computer was shutting down. Now I have Thermalright Ultra 120 with two push and pull fans. On LinX I have about 55-56 degrees at 3500 MHz. My temps are ok.
---- NEWS ----
I found the cure for OVERCLOCKING 1055T on 880G@890GX. There is no NB voltage! OC Tuner is a LIE!
In bios there is something called mGPU voltage. Since GPU is the same chip as NB and it's stock voltage is 1.4V ... I've bumped this voltage to 1.5V and overclock improved a lot!
Still testing but this may be a clue for all bad 1055T ocing on this mobo.
This thing really does require work when you hit above 3800/3850, my 1055t 125 w which will do 4ghz stable@1.48 in my Asus M4A785D-M PRO (about half the price and half the power phase 4+1 vs 8+2) and stable I mean months of wcg at that speed, I swapped it into the asrock and had to settle for 3.8 @1.45 board overvolts to1.5v for stability.
Just dropped the 1055t 95w in, which will do 4ghz@1.4v, I cant hit 4ghz, 3.9 is taking 1.45 with the board showing 1.5v and not stable yet. Same ram/psu etc.
I know the vrm get hot on my asus, I have them sinked fans blowing on them, if not the board would throttle. However the asrock has factory heat pipe, noticed yesterday strange smell, looked closer and saw some grease like substance on the vrm area, pulled board/heat pipe and the thermal tape has started to liquefy, the vrms and surrounding area are covered in this grease. Going to clean it mount a thermalright on the vrm(although my hr-09s is somewhat to large will need to mod it slightly ) and mount a thermalright on the chipset see what happens.
When I pulled the heat pipe there was small balls of solder, thought nothing more than bad quality control. After installing my own vrm cooler and pulling it there was more balls of solder, this is after a thorough clean, the vrm area was getting that hot it was liquefying the solder then it would harden. Anyway the long and the short of it, the board gave up the ghost, magic smoke appeared from the choke at the bottom of the power phase caps, the one to the right of "PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot" (lz R27). Amazingly it still posted, but have pulled everything and no further testing.
Applied for RMA and informed them of what I have been doing to trouble shoot, removing heat pipe etc, warranty is void and they wont accept it back.
Now the bottom line is this it has been in a well ventilated room/case from that day I bought it 6.5 months ago, nothing in that time was done to the heat pipe cooling or anything else, only overclock on air with an x6@3.8 4gb ram, it was on 24/7 as I crunch. I feel the power phase/vrms are under serious pressure with an x6 overclocked and a beefing up of this area along with better cooling is something manufacturers should look at.
cheers
Not too shabby at HTT :D

@shenlong
The bios you have posted is for 890gx extreme3. On website is mislabeled as a bios for ASRock 890FX Extreme 3.
Any chance that Asrock releases an UEFI bios for this board?, or at least some new bios...
Seems Asrock is releasing UEFI bios for plenty of its boards...
Unfortunately Asrock is releasing new BIOSes only for motherboards with AM3+. They have made 880G/890GX Extreme 3 obsolete. Latest bios for 880G Exteme 3 was released over a year ago (6/24/2010).
I am not happy with ASROCK policy. I should have bought ASUS. They still supporting 2+ year old motherboards.
Same here. This has to be the worst bios support of all my previous (counting...) 5 PC boards.
I've written to Asrock asking for UEFI and/or new bioses that improve stability for 890GX (2.42 beta bios is a lot more stable for my overclock than latest 2.50).
Here's the link so you all can write too, maybe that way... :-?

Have a nice day!
someone know why our motherboards is without am3+ bios support? even nforce4 motherboards have new bios :-( why asrock kills this board...
Good News Everyone!
AM3+ BIOS for 880G and 890GX Extreme3:

Good find!!!
I have one that used to run a 1055t before I got my dual C32... Looks like I have an open door to Bulldozer
please if you buy bulldozer make few test on this mobo i want to upgrade my athlon x3@x4 and choosing between phenom x6 and fx-8120 :-)
Im currently deployed, but depending on the outcome of my Dual C32 system, I may be working on the FX8150 (or higher) the day I get home (next spring)!
I've just tried bios 3.10 in my 890GX Extreme3... it's way less stable than 2.42B with the same settings, but somewhat better than 2.50, as I expected.
So far FX8150 + 890GX Extreme 3 = a loss. I have never had so many problems trying to get the system stable. Default settings, the system is not stable. I can only get it to work reliably if I downclock to 3ghz and disable turbo core. When it freezes, there is no blue screen or anything. Just a hard freeze that requires a power cycle. Ive tried the beta 3.03 bios and the release 3.10 bios.
Anybody else try this board with Bulldozer yet?
