JC, yes, I agree the clock throttling is annoying, it happens on my 5700U as well. It's good in that you don't get a hard lock up , but you have to wonder how close to the actual hard lock up it actually goes, maybe not near enough ? I think it is a portent for the future though, sadly.

wow opp is now at 30833 marks. He gained 75MHz to the cpu and 300 more marks! I have one question, is car chase low details supposed to be cpu intensive? I noticed it did not increase while high details did alot! You are the first and still only 30k guy and it looks like you could be 30k for a long time. Macci might get 30k, hes 9 marks shy but your still 800 ahead of him :)

yea 163 car high...no EE is going to get near that any time soon! Not that there is anything wrong with lobby high either...191 :)

AMD for car, P4 EE for lobby ?? what's the point weighting for car high and lobby high per fps ?

It only seems a short time ago that getting 130 for car high was fantastic.

wow nice ram bandwith! what cpu are you using and how fast? youll also need a really high clocked 9800xt too. I dont remember but heard last year only one guy broke 20k marks and no one else could till several months into the year 2003. Now history repeated itself with only opp having 30k

i saw some review that had a 3.2EE with unlocked multipliers all the way up to 28x... i have no idea why theres two versions, if there infact, are, but im guessing thats what macci's has.

I have a new bios that is giveing a couple extra points in lobby and other tests. Should help. Plus I want to try cooling the 9800 better, do some 650 Mhz benching:D

3.1s won't do anything for me in 2001 I don't think. I'll leave that OS alone.

interesting! you gonna try 650 core now? this could put you first place in 2003 at like 9800 :D oh so close. for 2001 if you get 3.25GHz on the cpu and 650 on the card you could dish out like 32k marks :drool:
