Good job, although like the EK supreme it looks a bit clog prone with the wrong coolant. Probably a good bet to stick with fuzion or apogee gt/gtx if you are using any dyes.

how come the q6600 is 10c less then then the q9450?...when the q6600 has more volts and is the hot unredisgned quads...

Anyone notice the 30C ambient if thats what it says......my french isn't that good something about "entree et debit", enter..??? assuming thats the rad air intake temp...???

No hang on just saw the eau bit, so thats water in temp then I take it...??? and the "debit" must mean flow rate at 1.5GPM, so is that 30C water in temp and flow rate of 1.5GPM...
Never mind its still a high restriction block meaning I'll need to add a new pump as well..... :(:(
I think I'm going to go with the XSPC X20 Delta V2 for now, as its quite cheap, low restriction, and gives pretty good results....... and when I replace my mobo in a month or so maybe I'll add a DDC 3.2 and XSPC top, and then look again at improving the block depending on how well the Phenom will OC on the new SB750 mobos...

Can I also just go off topic for a second to say how sad I was to read that Martin is bringing his testing and reviewing to a close....!! I have only recently come across some of the results and his webpage and all I can say is what a fantastic contribution he has made....:clap::clap::clap:

The only thing I'm not understanding yet is the comparison appears to be comparing at a fixed GPM.
Doesn't comparing C/W vs flow rate is a good way to penalize the lower restriction blocks and not a real world results comparison? Cathar mentioned this out a while back, to do it right you would compare pumping power instead of flow rate on the x axis.
Or you could calculate the actual c/w based on the pressure drop curves for each block compared and use the appropriate c/w value for the returning flow rate you would expect.:shrug:
Regardless, it would be a good comparison for the Supreme as it's probably higher in restriction.

Ahh... internal shots, finally! I don't believe those numbers yet, though. That would be a spectacular improvement in cooling.
Man, I want to get my hands on one of those.
I am sure it will be a good block. Honestly, I wasn't hoping for more of a change in the internal design, something revolutionary, something no one else was using. To me it looks like a D-Tek Fuzion top on an Apogee GT base. Granted, they did add the channels on the outside area, but how does that help cool a quad where the majority of the heat is in the center, i.e. the reason we bow our blocks. Also, in the looks department, it looks like a D-Tek to me, IMHO. It would have been nice to see another vendor take a chance on making their block stick out, like the Enzotech. Again, just my opinion.
Anyway, from a cooling standpoint, I am sure it will be just as good as the Supreme and D-Tek. Swiftech makes very good products.

I personally would like to learn more about how they do this sort of testing. All the typical questions come to mind.
- Is multiple mounting done when this sort of testing takes place?
- What sort of mounting pressure is applied?
- What sort of thermal compound is used and what method of application?
- Is the processor IHS stock or lapped?
- On the fuzion block was the quad nozzle or any nozzle used?
- The temperatures we're seeing, are they an average of core temps, or some sort of probe inserted somewhere?
- If the temps are core temperatures, which software and how long are these logged for and averaged?
- What is being used to "Load" the processor? Is there some sort of warm up time that's standard.
- What does the 30C mean, is that water temperature?
We're all struggling to figure out the best way to test these things third party, it would be awesome to better understand how it's done by the industry.:up:
