special produced for me :D thanks to amd :p:
special produced for me :D thanks to amd :p:
too bad, today i've recognized, that my 32m run was only #9 not #8 :(
tomorrow: 20kg DICE, 4 amd cpus, 8 intel cpus => lot of fun :D
O god ... run a laptop next to your bench setup and mail me every single result :D:D
Hope you have lots and lots of fun/WR ;)
hehe check :D
a guy from our team have sent me a full c2d setup  he want to convert me to dark side :lol2:
two new wr's for me :D

suicide at 3805MHz: http://www.bastel-gianni.ch/overcloc...1apmw_3805.jpg
the 3800+ needs more coldness!
The 3200+ WR is great, stephen is no more and history ! Great job gianni ;) But you don´t have an validation about 3,8 MHz :D....
Stephen's didn't have a coldbug (E3)
Gianni, you might want to check out this thread (quite old though): http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...highlight=3200
E3 does not mean coldbug-less. a stepping of XXBHX denoted no coldbug for the most part.
giannis chips being E6's means they are actually a 1/2 cored 1/2 cached dual core 2x1mb caches cpu.
hehe i'm sure he tought no one crack his wr :D
my cpu was bugged at 360mhz @ -40°C
great Wrs gianni :toast:
project "cracking the overall amd world record" started ;) i'll try it with an opteron 156 :)
What stepping is that 3200+? CABXE 0602xPMW?
Edit: CABXE 0614BPMW lol. I'm getting a CABXE 0602, that's why I asked. Oh well, I think your week is better than mine (dammit).
WHy does your chip show up as a Venice, btw? I have a CABGE 0602, which shows up as a San Diego (CPUZ 1.40.5). Both are San Diegos lol :D (CABxE)
Hehehehehehe, I was on holiday when that 156 ended. My damn 85 year old grandparents have no internet so I had no chance lol. Well, congrats with a nice CPU:D The cash you paid for that one... 100% insanity lol;) But hey! This is XS:yepp:
You can get brand new 156's for ~$300 in the US btw. Not sure if those stores ship abroad, but I googled around and found quite a few with those in stock. They probably use the same warehouse (all had 37 in stock), and no-one could tell me what stepping I could get:D
This is just an amazing 3.8 system.
You definitely have the golden one, keep it in a safe place.
Metroid.
hehe yes i'm really insane! ;) but 0617TPMW is a real good stepping, so i hope the best...
and yes in theorie these CABYE & CABXE cpus are relabled "sandiego"-cores watch the photos:
3800+ venice:

4000+ sandiego:
http://octs.ripping.org/apmw_wo_hs.jpg
but hey, if amd say it's a venice, then it's a venice :D
btw: do you try to hunting my wr's?
Well, I try to beat your (and every other s754/s939) WR's. Unfortunately, I have a few problems:
*Not too much money:D
*No exotic cooling:mad:
*My German friend, who I ship to when buying from German people, needs 100 years to send me stuff. He must have like 50 CPUs in his bedroom now:D
*Your WR's are kinda s!ck, need luck + skill + cooling + + + +
Just so you know, Gianni-GT the overall AMD WR is also being chased by a few of us with 6400+ ;)
Don't relax! :D , but nonetheless it's amazing how good these old single cores were.. damn the now unaviodable cold bug!
I'll get a 3700+ WR very soon.
Haven't tested it yet, but I KNOW it's a WR chip.
Reason: 3700+ Newcastle :D
ADA3700DEP4AW
RABPC 0352MPM

(s939 ^^)
gianni, you know anything about this one? PS: add it to the ripping.org database;)
Crap! I hope my boards are a bit "better" than yours:p:
But seriously, this is the only 3700+ newcastle I've ever seen. it's not in the ripping database, nor in the hwbot database.
Damn, I hope I don't have to get some ASUS crap just to play with this one.
Oh well, I'll try it on my Venus as well as my friend's. if it doesn't work... then I guess it doesn't. I wonder what kind of info CPUZ will show...
hehe yes... it's also not in the amd.com compare cpu database :D but there is also no otpi 156 listed :D
btw: i've found a thread at google about a 3700+ newcastle http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=928714
