The 945 is coming on monday 04/07 specially made for budget people.

I'm thinking in buying the new P5W DH, it is a good motherboard, it has a lot of features and usefull things like EZ backup, free Wi-Fi and a nice dolby master sound, but I'm not sure yet.
Since the DFI will outperform the 975x in some benchmarks that will be quite difficult to choose between them. Asus is all the way with conroe, but with weak tests made by Intel 590 reference until now, it shows that 975x really is the way to go right now with unproved 590 bechmarks. I'm waiting for clear and closer results with the DFI Intel 590 edition and then decided between them. I wonder when Hexus will really show us the true 590 benchmarks with a strong brand reference as DFI it is, maybe it is a lack of time for them (Hexus) make just a simple bechmark test. They should give it to me. :D
Anyway waiting for really strong benchmarks between 35% of advantage between the old(NF4) and new chip7(NF5).

The NForce 5 has good features like TCP/IP Acceleration, First Packet and it is Vista capable.
That Lanparty looks SWEET... UV too right?
I just don't know with the Nvidia chipset... weak, at least on current Intel... Don't care for SLI wan't Minimum decent OC capabilities.
Price range on that? When?
Yeah, sucks.Quote:

As I have read so far NVidia got the right process as it is with AMD and I'm sure Intel 590 made by DFI will be the fastest motherboard in graphics and instability outperforming 975x chip7 in many benchmarks, but do not expect early than 10 of August, as for the people that thinks 590 will be a disappointment for overclockers, they will all be wrong.
Working in a long term process NVidia has done a great progress with the NF5 but it all depends of the manufactures, DFI know about what Conroe can give to people in terms of overcloking and that for me and for many will be the most successful 2006 motherboard for enthusiastic people.
Price will be around 180£ 260$ on launch.
DFI or Asus for the 590. Have to see what either of them manage to do for the thing. And then after chipset tweaking by both and how that turns out, one has to factor in the 6 phase digital vs 8 phase analog power system.
I'm not yet sure that oc'ing is going to be stable (it wasn't really good on the NF4 with the same memory controller, but did they tweak the controller a bit?). And I do not know how well the whole package will perform against the 975, taking away the SLI factor. And further will 590 support Kentsfield? It would be a definite bonus to the 975 series to be able to just drop in Kentsfield and all gain all that chip offers.
Jury is still out on so many things, that the 590 has a lot to prove. It's not entirely a slam dunk really, but we shall see.
Some people said the new memory controller is coming in the first quarter.:(Quote:

I'm saying they might use the MC19 XE instead of MC19.
Really that is what we will see with reviews.Quote:

That is a great advantage over 590 if not supported kentsfield in it.Quote:

If they were able to improve the mem controller, would be a big plus, clearly.
Yep Kentsfield testing is key, prolly have to rely on XS folks for that :)
Again, testing testing testing

This other board good too, but looks like its missing a few featurs compared with DS4. I just hope they all OC good.
I hope that will be a great month.:)Quote:

Therefore all the 965 will come with the same function. It differs as well on performance that is less than the high end motherboard 975x. I can not understand why they have not done a 975x with the CH8 instead of CH7, maybe could be to reduce costs, being able to compete the market with many other chipsets around.
975x with ich8 is probably going to fuel the "midway boards" before the chipset upgrade roundup in mid 2007..
Are there any informations about DFI RD600 mobo and which would be better DFI nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition or RD600 and when are those mobos expected for sale in Europe?
BTW-Sorry for oftopic: Are there Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe) procesors for sale anywere in Europe and how much do they cost?

Second both RD600 and 590 will be great boards but I insist that RD600 will be better in many ways.

Third Yes we have in sale on many places in Europe
Conroe Pre order link 1 link 2
Enjoy the forum it helps a lot.
Thanks, i realy like this forum!
i just pre-rdered my e6600, i wish some u.s. sites would put up p965 pre-orders too
I think 965 might be the way to go if you don´t plan on doing CrossFire or SLI. On 975 mobos, haven´t seen a great one yet, hope Abit can do the job.
Kinda like the nf ultra was a great chipset for 939 and we didn't need the sli boards for great OCing...
Regarding abit... i dunno. Really upset on the Intel abit boards. Now that they have all this trouble behind them maybe they can focus on working better.
They have also lost alot of talent within the years.
Don't know if someone said it before, but at www.overclocker.co.uk have the revision v2.0 of the MSI 975X Platinum arriving middle July 2006, as usually, pre-order by now.
Don't you mean overclockers.co.uk buddy? ;)Quote:

More mobos are in stores...
it isn't out yet, and it will be conroe ready, but it will probably be uglyQuote:
