How will posting benchies of actual release cards be useless and only add to speculation? Sure, there'll be "how much can this improve due to more mature drivers" but that's still pretty bloody useful. At two weeks before release the drivers included will be more than mature enough.

He just mentioned 4850 is better than GTX280. Its in Price/performance ratio. There is no way 4850 can be faster than GTX280.

CF means crossfire, 2x4850s best the 280 is the intention of that post and not really p/p

buit the possibility of executing 800 shading operations simultaineasly (ideally) can mean quite a lot with upcoming CUDA support (physx etx..) and new folding clients.. (hope thats correct lol)

That last part is not completely true as each of those 800 shaders is just as capable as the shaders on G80 for example. On G200 this has been changed however so I'm not sure how that works out. But RV770 truly has 800 shaders and G80 has 128, G200 has 240 but these differ a little form G80 as there are some rumors of the fixed MUL unit and stuff like that. Oh well, we will only know until they are all released.

He could get it on Computex like bunch of journalists, or someone in "neighborhood" gave him card and that someone (let's call him Mr. M) will not be happy with this, regardles of the NDA... NDA is only pro-form thing and what's more important is gentleman’s agreement – one that he certainly has with green guys and Mr. I ;)
