Back when i had my S939 system i had my 3700+ i had it clocked to 2.93 on air i guess this is nothing compared to other clocks in this thread but i was happy with it.

yes thats right....you have to search long for an cpu like some in that thread. most of the normal ones goes between 2.5 and 3.0 ghz. so dont worry.
you also have to get some really good cooling, with air there will be the wall very fast.

That's not nice, last night I had my FX-55 CABCE 0516WPMW running OCCT at 2960MHz 1.400v, and my 3700+ runs at 2958MHz 24/7 at 1.375v :P

This cpu should do 3.05 ghz prime with default vcore and sonic tower. but first tests by me I got only 2.9 ghz with default vcore ( my board 1.296 v / his board 1.360 v ) and very high temps. around 60c on both cores :(
