Now that's funny!!!
SC. You got the other cheek :D
Got a 660Ti just sitting here on my desk slacking, I'll add it within the next couple of days or so to keep my grip firm :yepp:
SC,You're a true Xtreme crunching buckaroo, you rode the AP for > 8 seconds with fine form and got an excellent score from it.
Get that 660Ti in there and ride on...
You can tip your Stetson cowboy...!!! :)
So it takes at least 300,000+ BOINC or 2.8 million WCG points for pie..HMMM...:wasntme:
looking ... looking ... nope, no MM yet :sofa:
SC, I see that MM is now running 7 crunchers including that hypothetical i7-3960x (online as of 25 Feb 2013). Theoretically his score should have boosted by 80-90K BOINC PPD. He is still averaging an ~ 36K BOINC PPD on that 3960x rig. He obviously needs to crank up the OC on that rig or feed it some of that WT elixir. His new server board is not online yet and there is no indications of any ongoing GPU crunching.

Looks like the New Hampshire National Crunching Guard is readying new weapons for the ongoing WCG campaign. The NHNCG does not appear to have yet reached battle readiness status.
PS: SC, that 660Ti you added is making a worthy contribution to securing your daily pie spot...!!! OC and Hypernova are bound to be back soon at the pie table causing a might of a shuffle.
Patience oh padawan..Rome wasn't built in a day and that machine has only 12 hours under it's belt so far..and 915 WU pending validation besides the 268,000 points it got for the first 1/2 of the day..:D
Oh, this is just the start..Another division of the NHCG is in transit but they have a app 7 day forced march before reaching the front lines..:D
This is still all hypothetical of course and could be subversive propaganda on behalf of the NHCG.
Latest INTEL - Numerous fast advancing Xtreme GPU Crunching Units reported closing in onto remote Appalachian objective for a multi-prongs offensive and decisive overrun
Peh, I'm not even close yet to these bruisers!
C'mon guys, you can tell me..
You work for the video card companies and are getting them at 1/3 the price! :D
Don't worry Dave. It'll soon be back to cpu only, when your 'beast' will be helping you get your regular slice of pie. You know, the one just before the ar$e slice :D
My logic tells me that with the amount of work WCG gets done with GPU that it would be dumb beyond beleif that this would be the end of GPU crunching.
Now we might see a small lag time but I'd bet you dollars to dime that inside 3-4 months there are more GPU work..
Now as to me and cpu, I will never catch you guys. That is how much GPU work has affected the project.
Doesn't bother me. The work is getting done at a huge rate and that is what matters..
BUT could you just once in a while save me some crumbs..I do miss a little pie!
Guess that's what I get for not stopping by in so long...
You can't rest on your laurels in this team. Glad to see you posting again
Well SC, I see you are back to humpin' arse again!
I can not lie ... if all I can get is a piece of arse I'll take it
But seriously ... my molex to PCIE converter cable order was suppose to be 2 pieces but I only received 1 so the 660Ti is not running yet :-(
