All I can say is you guys are bad ass, I'm in it for the long haul, maybe not the gaming rig 24/7 (high electric bill from the dedicated a/c unit) but the i7 "media server" is going to be non-stop.
I'm in it for the long run too, 2 gaming systems about 20/7, work pc...when I'm at work and sossaman incoming 24/7
They'll all go 24/7 starting next friday :D until 9 may :p
yea, thats the same thing I said when I saw that we were going to break 10 mil today but I told you guys, I knew last friday, I had a vision..:D
 Thanks pal..Now if you can also teach me how to speak and read Dutch I'll owe you forever.. GAWD does that language boggle my mind!:D
I'm already trying to teach my girlfriend dutch so..... I'll think about it :p
I'm thinking of asking my boss if we can do something but I haven't got a bloody clue on how to explain it to him. (I work for town : town hall, social house, library, school, fire department so lot of pc's total)
Tell them it's a small secure app that when installed downloads small files, complies them, then sends them back( thats simplified but should do)
Managed by IBM, their servers donated to this and has been running for 6 years.
Stable enough that I have machines running over a year without a reboot.
If he wants more info PM me and I'll give you my email address.
Last, if he seems stubborn( and speaks English) give me his tel number and I guarantee he'll say yes.... ( just to get off the phone)
:cheer:Well done, Movieman and the XS team!:cheer:

And the graph is still on the rise!
BTW, "MrKermit" is at a supercomputing centre near U Illinois donating their computing time when they don't have other work, so their daily contribution probably fluctuates wildly. MrKermit explains himself here.
I'll kick in my ~85000 pts/day on 1/5/10 for you. We don't want to let all of our fireworks off at once now, do we?
And Movieman, you brought my attention to this little push by sending me an email. I expect that a little before the end of the period, say 5th, you'll send another, with thanks/congrats, and most of all, encouraging new crunchers to stay.
if you speak french movieman ? why not ?, i still havent made my mind for the dedicated cruncher i want so much choice, 3 rig of i7 860, a crazy dual x5650, on or two 980x rig or go green and get some of those 6128 opteron in a 2socket mobo or 4 socket one.Gwa!!! so much choice too many variable to think about.
I tried to do similar a year ago, but regarding F@H. More than 50 people on a mailing list and nobody responded
And I thought that my "working environment" will understand and participate (PhD students, post docs + supervisors). Shaaaaaaame
wow, nice work guys! the team has 4x my lifetime points... in a day!
Just checked and today is looking to be another RED day!:D
