Looking at that chart...... it is about to get ridiculously difficult to get some pie..... 9th slice is worth over 400,000 and I feel sure that Santa brought some cards to some folks on the cusp

Happy new year to pie gourmets past, present & future
Hey -just noticed that Stoneageman has his name up in lights on the BOINC Home Page:
Computing power'Grats, S.A.M.

Active: 267,872 volunteers, 365,088 computers.
24-hour average: 7.152 PetaFLOPS.
stoneageman is contributing 31,553 GFLOPS.
Country: United Kingdom; Team: XtremeSystems
BTW what ever happened to the WCG XS Team top hosts database, after the startup of HCC-GPU?

It was only averaging 4 views/day at the end, so lost interest in keeping it updated. Perhaps I'll revisit it again if there is more interest.:shrug:Quote:

Wooohoooo, I got some chocolate pie!
Probably the only time ever that I will have some pie since you guys are hoarding those HD7970's and I missed it because I had no internet on holiday..... but still, wooohooo!
Stoneageman must be getting fat with the slices of pie he is getting each day.... his points/day are crazy. I have the current highest ppd in the Netherlands and he is still producing 6 times more than me. He alone equals the entire contribution of the Netherlands each day  Not to forget that there are normally at least 10 people with higher ppd than me just in team Xtremesystems. If those 10 would represent 1 country, they would take 6th place on the world ranking between the UK and Germany according to BOINCstats.
I give up
:bows:
I have seen team XS in action before..... I predict that before HCC GPU ends ass pie will be in XS of 500,000 BOINC
I'm having some heat issues which keeps crashing my crunchers, I guess I was too quick to implement my winter set-up. I guess I shouldn't complain about mid 70's weather in January, it is just unexpected and unplanned for
I will be much happier when I get my permanent cooling solution for my crunching room in the spring.
I am interested to have more details about your permanent cooling solution.
I too have heat issues and can crunch fully only in deep winter. At the moment external temps are around 32 which is perfect. The only thing is that I refuse is to aircon or to use energy to cool that means to destroy the heat generated by the crunchers. First this will impact heavily my bill and second I find this way of doing a little absurd. I have not found yet the ideal solution. As a result in summer my crunching power becomes minimal.
