@ ady1989 & ST4, thanks guys.
Feel the wub <3 lol - thread title says 3800, don't want to mislead anyone. Still want to see 4200 results, in the appropriate place. There's a much nicer table for those in the x2 OC thread, my 4600 results live there too. And it's a sticky. So don't feel bad. :DQuote:

If Sure With better cooling this will Crack More, My Phase arrives Tuesday so may try it then if he lets me.

Would Run longer but this is a friends chip and he needs the rig together on his Asrock Board. Shame considering the Chip Will be run at Stock.
Double Post
Just out of curiosity, is that an "N" or "T" chip? I am betting "T". Also, is 1.55v safe for a "N" chip 24/7?
Ill have a buchers 2mora mate as its in use, Its gona be run stock as its a friends Chip. Shame tho cos id like it :cool:Quote:

Good Old Camra, Early pics i took.

Another Run @ 2900Mhz
All In the Pic Below mate, Needs a big jump to be stable at 3Ghz which inst worth it. Below is rock Solid.
This was after a 24HR Burnin, Ill adjust and test for lower Vcore.

Thats a pretty decent chip. I am seriously considering getting an expert, what do you think? YOu like it?
Oh yeah mate i like the board. I get a little paranoid when i read all the scary posts like it killed this it killed that. But there must be thousands of these board out there and the odd bad thing is bound to happen as it does with all boards.Quote:

Altho u Have a Ultra-D, Not sure if its worth the move altho we all love new toys. ;)
Another Quick blast and it seems better after the burnin. Altho its getting too hot, id remove the IHS but it aint mine

Hmmm.. After killing my DFI NF4 ultra -d I ordered a new one, but now as I have installed the new board, my X2 needs 1,408 V (CPU-z and ITE reading) to run 2,95 GHz, whereas it used to do 2,95 GHz at 1,376 V (Again CPU-z and ITE reading). But in both cases I used 1,425 V in bios.
So have the chip really got 1,425 V even with the old mobo, and that the old mobo just were reading wrong?
Sorry for the english :(
I supose that could be the case, the other board could have been reading it wrong. Ive read many times that the readings differ with different boards.
Actually the Expert is a prime example, its way off reading Temps some worse that others.
*bump*
well i went to london and got a LDBHE 0605, still deciding on a HS/Fan that will get this baby to 2.6 - was thinking about the TT Big Typhoon. Looks pretty heavy though.
can anyone recommend a low noise, light but powerfull cooler (Air) ?
2600 1,328V 46°C Full load with TT BT, is this normal?
pretty hot i think....
KingRoLo, you will probably get to 2.6 with stock cooler. The TT big typhoon will probably get you a good bit higher.
well I picked up a x2 3800 (LDBFE 0610 UPMW "T chip") I haven't seen anything on it, so figured I'd post up my findings. So far its survived a bit of prime and some 3d as well @ 2600 with 1.38v ... idles 25C and load 36 (XP-90c with tornado) I'll throw some pics up later.
@KingRoLo last four letters and N or T and your cooling please m8 when you get to it thanks. :)
@drunkcarlos welcome to the forum and thanks for posting, love to see how far that baby goes.
@ Kingrolo, my friend uses the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro which i think is good and very quite.
@the Joker, I think thats about right mate the one my friend uses on air is around 43oCat 2.6 stock vcore.
@ Stone_Cold_Jimi, Good work on keeping this thread alive and up to date, very helpful. :toast:
same here...Quote:

cpu oc : 2,6 Ghz @ 1,4v (drops till 1,37vCore)
that simply sucks:slapass:
my Gigabyte Rocket Cooler 3D Pro cooled nearly same
as the TT but with 45db :D
hmmm thought i get ~38°C with 1,4V at least...
everyone with TT BT post your reults pls:fact:
with TT Big Typhoon :
Idle : 26° ~ 29°
Load : 45° ~ 50°
temps : case open ~ case closed
What vcore are you using??It happens with me and the cpu really dies (1.560vcore)Quote:

4 LEDS might be CPU dead but not 3. If you get 3 on, it's a RAM issue. The CPU lives if the fourth one goes off.
Stuck at:
4 LEDS = CPU problem
3 LEDS = RAM problem
2 LEDS = Graphics problem
1 LED = BIOS/mobo problem
sounds right to me.Quote:
