LOL anyone else here live in la and have some board hanging around that can handle 200 fsb with memory in sync I got to check how far this memory can be pushed would be a few hour project who can help :(

Sys...just out of curiosity, what is that red crap you annointed your virgin mobo in? Not that I'm gonna ever doing anything like that, but just curious.
Do you ever put that mobo in a case and just close it all up and say: "OK It's done!" ?? LOL!

And put it in a case? Soon enough! I'm working on modding the case and then yes I will put it in a case. 90% of the time though my computer is out of a case... What can I say. I'm a modding addict.
And ya know bout the birthday party bit, I don't know when the last time was I had a birthday party :( *cries* I gave up after having two b-day parties which had a car accident happen right outside the place I was having the party each time. One of the times it was the owner of the skating rink I was gonna have my part. *sigh* Now I just get a present and a pat on my back from my folks :P
Shadco: I will give that bios a shot. I am kinda confused though, the 1002 bios (unmodded) before my resoldering of volt mods and my pelt on the nf2 was letting me do 200mhz stable (for like 30-60minutes but then the sound would give out. Now 190mhz was iffy. I disabled the S-ATA raid, but I will give this new bios a shot.
My OS is toast right now, so I will use a THIRD brand of hard drive and see if that makes a difference :P I couldn't even use "FIXBOOT" or "FIXMBR" to fix the OS. Deffinitely f'ed it up royally.
Time to write some Zero's on those puppies

Not replying to myself, but they have released a patch for MBM5 for the Asus A7N8X here that actually seems to work. MBMA7N8X.zip
sensor 1 = Asus 1 = case
sensor 2 = Asus 2 = cpu socket
sensor 3 = W83L785TS-S or W83L785TS-S Diode for your CPU
Note: Please DO NOT select both the W83L785TS-S and W83L785TS-S Diode and remember 5.2.2.0 needs to be installed

I just noticed that ASUS has removed the 1002 Beta 004 bios from their FTP server and replaced it with 1002 Beta 003.
Anybody know why? I'm going to downgrade and see what happens (after I hack it up with modbin6 first :D )
edit: duh, I was only checking the asus.com.tw mirror, bete004 is still on their european server.
Because like I said in that other thread http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...5&pagenumber=3 there have been many problems with it not working, and causing more problems discussed in a number of other forums and threads here. It's a crap release, as was 2001-G

It has the 4.2.0.0 SATA bios from the latest Abit nForce bios, also has a lot of modding on the operation of the bios itself.
I am not the guy that did the modding.
Just to let you know.
I have installed this bios and all is well.
I am having a better & smoother operating system.
I am not a radical OC'er but I do enjoy a really good performing system.
I will email this to you if you would like to try it.
I can get the link to the guy that did the modding so you can look at the items he worked on.

Those beta ones, .003 , .004, and the modded .004, really sucked for me! Its just my setup I guess...but when I tried setting the multiplier other than 15...it was locked at 7, but this is, or could be, due to the fact that I had the wire unlocking the 2400+ under the cpu. Then out of no where...it worked...lol...go figure! But soon after...it didn't :confused: . Your probally going to kill me for this...but my friend needs a Nforce2 badly and he might buy mine from me and I'm getting the Epox 8RDA+ :( . It has higher voltages and can get higher O/Cs on the FSB. And I'm not to fond of doing mods on the board...rather just get one that is already done. And speaking of which...does any body know whats the current revision of the 8RDA+ on www.newegg.com ??? (I may be asking in the wrong forums....lol!)
Just thought I post a picture of my current o/c on this board with a 2400+ AIUHB - 0249WPAW at 2400mhz at 1.725v. I can get 2500mhz at 1.825v.
And here is the one at 2500mhz at 1.825v. I can post in the bios at 2600mhz at 1.85v...but it can't boot into windows! :(
