I wouldnt say there's a "bug" in it for Intel CPU's...
I've been doing a little google, and the use of 4.1/4.2 is about 50/50.
Basically, most of the rankings on the net use 4.1 simply because most results are already like this. Only after the rankings started came 4.2. Now if anyone were to start a new ranking, it would be only normal that 4.2 would be used.
I think in 4.1, AMD's have a too big advantage over the P4. However, in 4.2 it looks to me like the P4 is too far ahead. So I guess to be exact, you should combine the time of the old one with the new one and take the average :D

a 3 GHz XP is definately the equal of a 4 GHz+ P4

It's a P4 3000/800;)

I first tried it in the old Abit IT7Max2 v2 and it was not better than the old 3.066, so it's the FSB that do the trick.

-and the prommy mod -you now:D

desent ram will cut 1 sek or so...

Coollll.......Have you tried the P4 3.06GHz on this Mobo to see how it does???......and DO you remember the FPO/BATCH of your new CPU P4 3GHz(800fsb)....Thanks in advance...... :D

I think the 3000 is better than the 2.80, 2.66 etc in the first time of producktion.

The 3.066 perform like your dual DDR board. The mem can be tweeaked a little better (1.33 1.60 2.00 2.5 2.66 etc)
It can NOT go at 800 (fsb200 x 23 = 4600 :rolleyes: :D )

JC Viggens and others statement on the max fsb on Abit IT7:
IT7Max2 v 1 (reed and blue) IT7Max2 v 1.1 and IT7Max2 v 2
are not precise. With 3000/800 They can all go almost 200
(with voltmod etc etc)

Now......Let's see.......If Intel CPU's "grab" the three first places in Pi-fast bench , then we have to CHANGE the Version bench to the V.4.2 one.......We have spent enough time with this V.4.1 one which WAS good for the AMD's CPU's.....We HAVE to be "equal".....We have passed some months with V.4.1 and NOW we have to pass some months with V.4.2 .....AM I wrong???..... :)
