Well, here probably helped to 1.5V for the CPU and 1.1V for QPI / VTT
tested at 2 and 4 slots, there is no difference in stability, moreover, this set worked perfectly for MSI GD65, and without fear that the RAM is a drawback, I have a hunch that this BIOS, but I'm not 100% sure
The newest version of HWMonitor will give you a fairly accurate CPU voltage reading on the ud4-b3.
It's not the one listed as CPU Vcore, it's the bottom one listed as CPU.
motherboard is a nightmare
in idle crashes with a BSOD 0x1E, I will not give so much vCore for a measly 4.8GHz enough for MSI 1.45 V and 1.46 V at a digital multimeter, that everything was tested and worked without problem, and here there are problems all the time, tomorrow I refer mobo to the shop and I will ask for a refund because gigabyte is not worth that much
I'd like to say a big thanks to Gigabyte for a great board!
I've used the UD4 to -
Establish world records for both PCMark Vantage and PCMark05 ( http://hwbot.org/community/submissio...0k_39375_marks ) and to
Log a SuperPi32M of 5:48.6 - currently the 19th fastest in the world (across all processors not just SB) - http://hwbot.org/rankings/benchmark/.../world_records .
I would think - not too bad - for a $180.00 mobo

^ Yeah, that or 3 sticks of RAM in a Dual Channel system...WTF...LOL!!
Do you prefer running memories in slot 1 and 3 or 2 and 4?
easy 5.4ghz(1.55v)(27c air ambient).... with b3 rev
f3b bios is very stable
i'll play with ram...then subzero :D
plays nice with my el cheapo rams...i wonder if this is stable still at 5ghz,, thats another session... work starts sunday
Which memory is that Hondacity? BBSE variant?
adata 2200c8 :D
Bah! But thanks!
My hyper set wont work with UD4 or UD7 :(
2t.....bios default
i only tried setting the first 3 settings...
and only had an hour to test... too much work
i'll try this with corsairs...and supertalent hypers.. later
Sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find it. I just got a build up and running with this board paired with the F3 bios and a 2600k. I have two 640GB drives in raid 1 from a previous Intel-based system, a 150GB raptor, an 80GB Intel SSD, and a SATA DVD drive (5 devices total). I had the SSD plugged into one of the SATA3 ports and the rest plugged into all of the SATA2 ports. I set the BIOS to RAID(XHD) mode so I could continue using my 640GB drives in raid 1.
The issue I ran into is that the 80GB SSD would show up in the list of devices when the raid controller was initializing, but the Intel matrix raid utility did not see the 80GB drive and it did not show up in the bios as a bootable device. I tried changing all sorts of settings and could not get it worked out. I ended up swapping the DVD drive and the SSD so that all hard drives were on the SATA2 ports and now it works fine.
Any idea how to get the SATA3 ports working for bootable single devices while still using the SATA2 ports for raid?
Thanks!
^^ if the 80gb drive shows up in the raid bios (pass thru) if you reboot again after that it should show up in the regular bios so that you can put it at the top of the list for boot. You tried that and still no luck?
edit - another option is to connect the 80gb drive to a non-P67PCH controller and boot from it that way - did you try that yet?
Is your 80gb drive sata3?
f3b and f3d
1. no difference with hypers(super talents),
2. higher blclk 100.3(f3d) versus 99.9(f3b), doesn't matter really lol
...back to f3b :D
I like F3. Easier to work with and more stable for me.
hey honda, did you manage to get your STT 32M stable with 2133 divider?
i still have trouble.
anyway, F3 stable release here seems to be a bit better than F3B and F3D for bclocking and high dram speed.
a bit angry because i can run everything at these settings but not the 32M...
