1.4 vcore real, 1,38 vqpi, under 70 temps but is a single loop rather strong.
Xchanger 360 with 3x s-flex1900 rpm, mcr355 xspc plex top, all tubing 1/2", cpu block aqua HD DI but is surprising decent , maybe got a golden contact on it :)
If i go to a 190x20 can lower vcore till temps under 60.
Gaming never got to pass 50 with 4.2 ghz running :)
My chip at begin got problems reach 190 but more time passing more i see it can go up, funny
Thank you.
i think voltage on qpi is more the key to high block with high multi than vcore, at begin i even tried a 1.55 vcore but with a low vqpi 1.28 was not even getting at loading os.
All others voltage but pcie one, i raised them one step over stock.
Cant wait to find a gtz with 1366 mounting or a cpu-350 block here in italy or rather near, i think temps will go down another 5 :)
Do you like this? :D

Thats the lowest 4Ghz vcore I've seen yet. Nice.
LOL hornet.. that's so funny. I have gotten 160 to work stable as well now.
Here's how:
1. Load optimized defaults, save & exit
2. Do (or load) your settings, but leave all voltages except Vcore on auto (especially QPI...) and set BCLK to 150, save & exit
3. Set BCLK to 160, save & reboot --> works
Tried linpack as well as prime already, seems fine. Tried with 170 but it's no go, linpack freezes after 10 seconds. And it's NOT the mem, I set it manually to CAS 7-7-7-20 and it works as well with 160 BCLK.
Note that if I change any of the voltages except Vdimm and Vcore manually, or if I adjust mem mult, the mobo won't post anymore with 12GB. It's really strange behaviour...
Also, if I save that 160 BLCK setting and restore it after a no post, it won't post again even when the setting is perfectly stable. Have to go through the whole 1.-3. ordeal again (only with 12GB that is...) using optimized defaults as active baseline. :shakes:

QPI/VTT at 1.6v+ is key just as i initially thought
It's also key to killing your rig...
Does the Gigabyte have control over all fan speeds? In other words, if I enable fan control in the bios for the cpu (only option) does the bios adjust the other fans speeds accordingly? :)
I like my pc fast AND quiet....
I'm running the Extreme board, i920, Noctua hsf with extra 120mm fan and I'm getting temps of 90C under full load with prime... then it just randomly powers itself down (the entire system).
I'm running someone's recommended voltages from a few pages back, I think ~1.392 in windows vcore and a few other voltage increases.
Anyone got a clue on what it could be?

nice work! what kinda voltages that take namely qpi+vcore
namegt
vcore voltage ?
qpi/vtt voltage ?
any other voltages changed ?
lol ya beet me to it bobby
