Has anyone been able to OC a conroe with the 4MB cache yet on this ds3 board? Will it run stable 24/7 @ 400mhz 1:1 on any of the 4MB chips such as E6600?

the answer is yes. but the 2mb cahce cpu's "seem" to be clocking better.
or have i even misunderstood things.
400fsb is nothing for this board.

i have the Step 5 E6600 ES.

The bios are some new type i've never seen before:

It say's main bios and bp bios, they are not standard bios chips as i've seen them. Perhaps these are the new NAND flash chips?
got mine yesterday... ordered a pentium d 805 to hold me over till e6600 comes in. I'll have it on friday.
what do you think i could get the 805 up to with this board and a zalman 9500? I was thinking between 3.6 and 3.8GHz
i wonder what i can get my Celeron D 326 to overclock to. Maybe like 3.6ghz
Yeah I bought one of those for under $40 shipped on ebay. Its crazy to me how cheap those things are.Quote:

P.S. Does anyone know if a Ultra 120 mounts without pulling the mobo out of the case like the stock cooler does? That ultra looks kind of heavy and I'm thinking there must be something else they use to anchor it (that maybe goes behind the mobo)
Hmm this mobo isn't for me unfortunately.
I'm sorry but one IDE connector is not enough and if it only has one PCI-E x16 slot then why are there only 2 PCI slots? I would have expected three.
Anyway I'm looking for a low to mid board with 1 x PCI-E x16 and 3 PCI slots and minimum two IDE connectors (I have 4 DVD writers).
Are there any good "budget" boards or should I wait?
Mine came with sata orange sata cables.Quote:

Every 965P/965G will have only 1 IDE.
Sadly, you won't find any 975X "value" board. (under $200)
P5B will have 1 PCI-X and 3 PCI, but 1 IDE. Will be available early next week.
it deos h ave 3 pciQuote:
