Is that GT430 for PhysX? Nice setup btw :)
The GTX 580 can do audio over HDMI.
Although (I didn't know this when I jumped for the 580) Nvidia has yet to implement the driver to allow DTS-HD and TrueHD to be transmitted... or so says the internet.
So that's basically why I have that awesome little 430 in there. I run my video signal with the 580 and the audio and physx get processed by the 430. Audio is output over HDMI to my receiver.
I made some changes to my Lian Li PC 777B. I hope to you enjoy ;)

Love the snail case! I really wish lian li would produce more cases and oddities like this.
Still liking the case? I know it's old and not produces anymore... I really should fine one! I wonder if its WCing friendly.
Awesome snail case  I have a love/hate relationship with that case.
Looks good with the graphics, urban look. Now add watercooling to it and it's
a great nerd corner centerpiece.
Took some new pictures. (I deleted the old ones because the quality was bad)

so i borrowed my apartment to build my custom computer desk...
i got some pretty nice hardwood here and hand picked from the bunch. can't wait to finish this and start my build! hope my photos can compete with some of the epic pics you guys post!
**NINJI EDIT** though Shaza was kind enough just to limit my pics to 4, i am going to comply with the 4 simple rules and remove all pics as they are build log pics.
Love the looks of top of table
A better pic of my FT01BW.

Lots of beautiful systems here. Just a friendly reminder:

Four Simple Rules:
1) No larger than 1280 x 1024 pixel (but 1024 x 768 pixel is preferred),
2) The limit on the number of pictures is 4 per case (if you want to post more than 4 pictures, use thumbnails or post links without using the IMG tags),
3) Do not quote images,
4) Finished cases only, no worklogs.
AGAIN!!! holey turd man! you'd think i would have caught that one. sorry again XS.
Here's my PowerMac G5 mod that I completed on time for PDXLAN....

Very nice autobot....i recenlty started searching for such a case to start my own Mac-like project....
Any particular difficulties you ran up to while building it?
At the completion of the build I discovered that a screw had decided to puncture one of the radiators water channels. Hence, it leaked coolant all over the table. My neighbor repaired it for me quite easily though.
Here is my humble workstation and rig. My signature is out of date. Core stuff is still the same, but there is a lot that's new. I like my stuff simple, functional and my computer to be super quiet. My door stays closed almost 100% of the time. Keeps things very quiet.

What type of monitors are the main 3? Very nice and clean thought.
@the viking
that looks epic... what did u use to mount 4 monitors on 1 stand though?
@ vengeance 01
what is that blue fan i keep seeing? is it meant to cool the NB?
That is clean autobot i would love to see more also..
It is a custom made monitor stand i made back in 2009-2010. I think the worklog is somewhere here on the site, for the life of me i cant find it though
The worklog was posted on a norwegian forum aswell, i guess you can look at the pictures:

I know elemental designs carries pyramid sound dampening, there are probably a few places in aus that do too, it's also known as studio panel
http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...roducts_id=996 is one elemental designs link for it
eDead by Elemental Designs
They apparently make other stuff too.
Edit: and this.
@the viking
very nice... do you know of any stand that will do triple 23'' monitors that i can order? i would try and build based on you work log, but i dont have a metal shop :)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-016-_-Product
All of them seem stupid-expensive, though. I don't know of any cheaper non-permanent options. That +$60-100/monitor could easily go towards another screen or two (though you'd still be without desk space. :p:)
desk space is always the issue :P... and i know what you mean by crazy expensive (considering i got the monitors for $115 ea)... they also only support up to 20'' monitors if you use 3 at a time... i think ill probably just get two of these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846) and only use 2 monitors per, in the same set up as urs (except with 3 23''s and a 19'') they are definitely more reasonably priced, and have prity much only good reviews :)
Thank you!
I am sorry, i do not know of many stands that can take 23+. But maybe you can consider this? http://www.mountedconcepts.com/chief-kta325.html
If you ever do build your own stand, you can be sure as hell on the fact that theese stands are stable! Solid steel holds up quite a load :D

Another option would be to buy more premium models (that support Portrait mode on the stock stands). Unfortunately 1920x1200 went the way of the dodo and 27/16 (1.6875:1) is kinda narrow. Still, I prefer vertical room for regular surfing. At least AMD's CCC allows easy switching between different modes. Setup one as 3 different screens, a second as Eyefinity, and the third as Eyefinity with bezel correction.
@puunakki, nice to see an elementS. Boy they are a rare sight...
I have one also :D

puunakki beautiful workstation!
nice pic indeed.
Wow, how much power do those speaker put out? Must be impressive during gaming.
Don't quote pics...
I am disappoint.........usually those Finn setups are so clean you don't even see wires, they use magic to make it work:rofl:
They do kick quite a punch and in the corner I have the KEF PSW2500 subwoofer :) I also have Wharfedale 8.3 floor speakers unused (the ones on the wall are 8.1's) but I couldn't get them in any good position as front speakers, maybe I'll put them as surround speakers
It would've been just too much work if I wanted to put the wires inside the concrete :ROTF: In the living room I have them inside the wall and in there the wires
goes to the attic. From the attic they come down inside the wall to the amplifier.

Got tired of not being able to find a desk I liked, so I built my own monster. 1" MDF construction, laminated, cable management, filtered audio power, Full HT setup with Polk Monitor's, and room for 3 LCD's for my eyefinity setup.
http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/939/p2200689.jpg
This is the best shot I got, before the edges were finished with a marker and some filling. I learned how much of a pain laminate was. The color is Basalt Slate, and it's from home depot.

Thanx!!!
I'll check if i can find it around...
The only thing I dislike about that desk, CJ145, is how the speakers are setup. I'd much prefer an exaggerated sound-stage (having FL/FR wider than normal) than that.
I recently did a little upgrade... I bought a MSI HD6870 Twin Frozr II.
I finaly succeded to resolve the pics problem, thanks to a friend :)

My next build will most likely be integrated into a room, and I plan on making it sound as good as possible. This was more of a, okay, it won't fit anywhere else. In proper sitting position your ears are actually the same distance from each speaker and monitor (including center) and the left/right doesn't sound too close or too far apart. I might move them about 5-6" out if I could. It certainly doesn't help fill the room with them that close and at that angle, but it works perfectly for the 1 person sitting at the desk. I can easily pick up gunfire directions with this setup, where my old Klipsch 4.1 computer system I had trouble. I wish there was a way to mount them inside the monitors though... maybe projectors and mesh screens for my next setup.
I love seeing all the other eyefinity setups here, good to know there are so many. Hopefully all new games at least make an effort to support multi monitor gaming. The Crysis 2 demo was a massive disappointment to me when I saw the UI stretched across all 3 screens.
I would have a problem listening to speakers from a 30+° angle. The best way to do it would be to use Portrait monitors with Eyefinity. That'd give you 27:16 or 30:16 aspect ratios instead of 48:9 or 48:10. The latter options are far too wide while the former seem to lend a hand to even better accuracy. Bigger enemies and all.
Nice job with the custom desk!
