I love XS - just reached 14s and we already go on the next milestone, no time to loose, way to go 12s here we come :DQuote:

Great work Coolaler!
You have to keep in mind, someone using an absolutely SICK set of ram pushed pretty well is going to help the Pi time. DDR2 is getting better pretty quickly from what i've seen ;)
A bit off topic for this thread but you really need to look up what the "limited account" and the "RunAs" feature in XP can do for you, man. Your XP experience really doesn't need to be what you have described. Any virus' you get while on a limited account cannot execute itself. It would need higher privileges. Anything you need to install/execute can be done with the use of the "RunAs" feature from within the limited account. Seriously, there's no better way to use XP than that... concerning virus's/spyware etc etc... Simply do an antivirus scan before you install stuff and your set this way.Quote:

3damrk06 Cpu test at 3ghz please! :D
crazy indeed coolaler:toast: . Use maxmem before benching PI and try to run PI from virtual drive. Could be enough for that .02 to get WR.
Waow, this is getting serious, thanks a bunch for your stuff Coolaler
damn what is next
just a quick note about the regression data. it's not technically dead on for CPU core speed alone since there's no way to move the CPU clock by clock up without raising the FSB. that makes two variables. great information though, it should match real-life results very well (until people start trying to fit chips with different default multipliers, or the Conroe XE, to the graph).
:)
Really nice work coolaler! we all appreciate that
2.98Ghz ok?:DQuote:

Intel has really stuck a firecracker up the competitions hummer.
Xtremesystems, Coolaler and company, this data has been awesome lately. Jesus, it feels like we just stepped foot on Mars.

how about some more volts?
Whats the big deal with PI, what does it mean I never figured that out? I know that AMD dual core @ 3.0ghz can do 1M pi in 28-29 seconds, but in no way does it reflect its performance...whys everyone so psyched about the pi scores then? But I haven't read anything about it so I could be an idiot :D
More volts is not available at that mother board as I've understood so far..

:off: Let's not trash up a really great thread by going off topic. That discussion needs to be discussed in Computer related open discussion . There is a lot of hard work and good info so far.
Very quick.. Some companies just needed motivation. And keep up the good work Coolar :D We really appreciate it.:clap:Quote:
