hard to say Athlon64OC. Not familiar with that stepping, but most all of the 06's are getting to 2600+ on air afaik.

I finaly got my new mem (2x1gb g.skill extreme hz) to replace my dead ballistix :( and decided to take my 0601 for a spin.. solid at 2.55ghz on stock voltage 1.325 x 104% .. i'm going to play with my mem and see where I can take it.. it's a T chip (0601 fpmw) so I was told it would perform better under water but I havent completed purchasing my parts yet.. still running it in a p180 under a si-120 panaflo m1a 120mm fan.. idle 29c load 36c..Quote:

Post #188 in the other x2 thread I had my LDBFE 0607 TPMW prime stable at 2.8 Ghz small FFTs 1.488v and custom blend 8 hrs primed 1.504v. Custom seemed to need a bit more juice
Kind of trivial info taking your news into account. My father is terminally ill with cancer, and I see my mum back in the UK very rarely. I feel for you man and my condolences.

Just changed my config to an Ultra-D from expert. Was quite optimistic of a better OC given that my x2 required less juice on my Asus premium than the expert. Exactly the bloody same though. Darn it!
Running Tmod 406 just for ref.
Can't believe I'm :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:ing about 2.8 ghz. :D Envy and addiction.

Many many thanks for your condolences guys; my mum had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour on 6th January and from then she basically partied as well as she was able until about four weeks ago, bless her. Most of the grieving happens as the symptoms worsen and the person you knew "disappears" or changes beyond recognition as suffering and anguish kick in, so the end is in many ways merciful.
My sympathy to those of you with ailing parents and relatives or recent family losses, I know that pain.
On with the show - I'll update the list later today and try to include any relevant info from other threads; I have to say, being given it all on a plate in one line is luxury brechtvm ;)
ok, for your enjoyment. learning some lessons from last time. :)

the A8N32-SLI overreports voltage.
thanks,

Well, when I was priming last night my system locked up, upon reboot I got the dreaded 3 LED lights, looks like the CPU is dead, tried an overnight CMOS clear and that didn't seem to help...
i FINALLY found someone with the same stepping !Quote:

(need to cool it down..if i let it go above 50°, i get errors...)
is it possible to show me a picture of your cooling ? because i dont know 'bout which cooling you're speaking :s

I am recieving a 4200X2 LDBHE 0606BPMW "N" tomorrow,
would it be appropriate to post reults in this thread?
I was going to buy a 3800X2 however this 4200 was just too good of a deal to pass on!
Thanks for your thoughts mongo. Your new chip looks interesting, but it ain't a 3800! However, I'd love to see your results in the Official x2 OC thread - good luck with it.:DQuote:

Since everyone said 0601s in general were decent I took the plunge and i'm much more impressed with it over my older toledo 3800+ x2..Quote:

i got a x2 3800 0607 SPMW on the way, ive only seen 2 others with same stepping ...ill post results when i got it running. any comments on this stepping?
One of mine is LDBFE 0607 SPMW, currently running with a stock 4600+ HSF at 2700 / 1.392v. It actually bested my 4600 at 3GHz on phase by running 1.47v against 1.5v. Good luck, hope it's as good. :up:Quote:
