This test seems to be pretty useless. x2 3800 has a much higher maxcaseT and I can clock 250mhz higher.

you must only compare similar processors.
mine 170 0530tpmw has 53deg , want to see another results from the same week...

One thing I haven't figured out yet is the following difference with a 4400x2.. as there are 2 versions available...
Processor AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-core
Model 4400+
Ordering P/N (Tray) ADV4400DAA6CD
Ordering P/N (PIB) ADA4400CDBOX
Operating Mode 32/64
Stepping E6
Frequency 2200Mhz
HT Speed 2000
Voltage 1.35-1.40 V
Max Temp 71°C
Thermal Power 89W
L1 Cache 128KB
L2 Cache 1MB x2
CMOS Technology 90nm SOI
Socket Socket 939
and....

How do I know which version I have... and does the program now which CPU is which..?
Also.. even if I have the 110W thermal power version which is rated at TMax 65C... how come mine can only handle 55C according to the program...?
10C difference is a lot.. especially for a $550 chip..

With my chip overlocked to 2650mhz, i get this is the AMD64 TCaseMax v1.18:
TMaxCase: 49C
TDP: 35W
Ok, what exactly do the TCaseMax and TDP mean there? The rated wattage of my chip is supposed to be 110W, so what do those values above represent in relation to actual output wattage?!
I am interessted in how this programm works...Quote:

I have a 170 CCBWE 0546XPMW that is stable at 2700 with 1.46volts... so far I'm priming at 2800 @ 1.6volts for 2 and a half hours and still going my max load temp is 38C with water... I'll tell you for sure in the morning
Hang in there Hassan, that week 170 (see my sig) are good for at least 2.9GHz 100% torture stable with less than 1.6Vcore after burn-in :toast:
My Tcase max is 65C. When we reach the max of this temp does the Tcase melt? if we take the Heat spreader off does this increase the temp in witch the CPU can survive at because it has no heat spreader?Quote:
