Same issues for me MS, system acts totally different with UTT than with TCCD. With UTT my 10x doesn't work well, nor do dividers (0510-2) and with TCCD 10x and 11x are fine as are dividers however RAM that used to clock to 283Mhz now tops out at 250 or so (0510-3). Dunno if its BIOS related, weird mem controller, or what, all I know is these new CPUs require a TON of tweaking to get mem OCs stable.

I agree with your LL mem theory too, took me two weeks to get my damn TCCD stable.

Help!

Why can´t i go above htt300 ? Using 510-3 right now with my ocz pc3200 rev2. Can it be the bios or just a memorysetting at that high. Everything under htt300 works perfectly.

I kinda tried that. Mabye I'll reread it and try it again with toast. I do know my seti BOINC times go up almost 1000s if I drop to 1.65v.

Extremely hot. It was probably close to 85f in that room over the weekend. The only time its around 76-78f or lower is either winter or while I'm sleeping. So 40C full load in a hot room at 1.67v :) Add 5C because that is what I believe it is off by. My biggest problem is the mosfets. I've tied a fan to the tubing right above them. They were wanting to go over 60C... now I've not seen them break 50C. I have a Swiftech 6002 and a Bonneville heatercore (dual 120mm fans). I'm chatting with someone about building me a single stange phase change system but that will likely be the end of the year or early next.

Lets just see what happens when I rip everything out and include my GPU though. Although its not the hottest GPU out there (X800XL). But I'm also removing the reservoir and putting the CPU directly after the heatercore.

Man that sucks :( U shoud get rid of that chip , sell it or something . I had 2750MHz on my crapy Winchester 3000+ CBBID with my Vapo :D I know it sucks that Monarch would not refund any CPU's :mad: I will suggest to RMA it and if they ask why tell that it BSOD's or something and i am possitive that they will replace it with another one ;) 2700MHz @ Vapo is not acceptable :nono:

yeh rma...kill it with static first. take it out, hold in your hand and rub your feet on some carpet with socks on. puts a bunch of power to it and then it wount boot if its dead. they wount know because no physical damage occoured so then they rma it and your can be guaranteed a new one! :woot:

Man DON'T DO THAT! That just causes the prices of hardware to increase at our expense! Sell it off on eBay! Trust me, I have sold off plenty of processors on eBay. You need a good 'ol :slapass: if thats how you do business...

as a side note, i run different programs. i dunno if it makes a difference but im sure it wouldnt hurt. what i mean is Toast for example just calculates a bunch of numbers. so ill run that for 5 hours or so, then run sandra and in the burn-in wizard run the arithmatic and multi-media burn-ins so that it stress another part of the cpu. you can also run S&M for lvl 1 and 2 cache burn in. between all of those, you should be able to stress many parts of the cpu so it unlease its potential! :banana:

I was having issues with my DFI ut board and so I bought a second one and installed it yesterday. After a few hrs of testing with it I managed to get 1.6 stable at 2860 mhz where as I had to be @ 1.72 with other board. To say the least I am rmaing the other one. I might try this burn in thing but I have had this cpu for a little while now and I am not sure if it would even benefit me at this point. Worth a try tho. I do leaving it running 24/7 folding which stresses it out some.
