Finally another LSX owner.
How does that GTO drive? It looks great, and I love the interior of those cars. Almost made me want to switch. But then I looked at the exteroir of my car and said, nah ;)

Hell yes! LSX FTW! :D
Love these GTOs. Had a bunch of them now. (4 total)
2006 >>>>> 2004/2005. VERY refined, excellent tranny, etc.
They drive like a dream, have a :banana::banana::banana:load of power stock, much more modded.
However, I love the WS6 body. Gimme that with an LS2/LS7... Oh baby! :woot:

I'm usually not a big fan of those but that's a sweet S-10. Although I may be a bit biased by your color choice, and wheels (check my sig) :DQuote:

arisythila, what is the weight of that car? 10.9 @ 134 with only 280rwhp is amazing. Was this on a dyno or an actual track?

Gas makes it's hard to drive a V8 with a huge carb pushing over 430 at the crank. Maybe someday....
What motor is in that pontiac? LS1?
I'm a big LT1 fan actually, my father had one in his 95 Corvette before selling it to get a 300ZX-TT. I found a nearby speedshop when looking at different engine swap combos that wanted to give me a completely rebuilt LT-1 with a bunch of mods (External oil pump, cams, ported and polished, B&P and some other stuff) for only 5K including the swap, but I would've had to pay for a new transmission.
I ended up going with the 385 and a 700R4 after seeing the same combo in my friends 54 chevy. I paired the 700R4 with a B&M shift kit for lazy but yet still fun driving, and have traction bars in the rear as the truck wouldn't do much but spin otherwise.
Yes it is the LS1. The LT1 was a good motor for its time but its been far surpassed now and it wouldn't make much sense to build one.
Have you been to a track with the truck?
Nope never been, I figure it might run high 11's or so. What do you think? I've never had it dyno'd but it should be somewhere around 430HP and over 450TQ I'm guessing...Quote:

2000 camaro SS NBM m6 (lol, only phone pics... no digi cam :( )
LME forged 347 (soon to be iron stroker baby!)
also have a 2006 trailblazer SS on the way.
also have a 2001 zx11D NINJA (drag bike) will get pics up asap
also have a 2001 gsxr1000 (for the street)will get pics up asap
With the money you spend on that thing you could at least buy yourself a decent camera...:D
Why going iron? FI? Big shot of N20? Serious power levels only will need that kind of strength.
Oh and I want your forged 347.

i would rather overkill for strength then be borderline okay. Plus i hate piston slap, and ive never heard an aluminum motor that doesnt knock on cold start-ups.
i used to have a digi cam, but took it fishing at the beach one day, and dropped it into the ocean.
trey
It's a Yank 2600 stall (Makes it's semi decent for for the street compared to a 3500).Quote:

Mine has a lockup clutch so that once its up to speed it stops slipping. And even when it does, it's not that bad. It actually gives you a lot more power and the car rips right along if you give it a little more gas. My mileage wasn't affected either which is great, but that is going to depend on your driving style.
This is my smooth ride :stick:
2.4 Litre Diesel 72Hp 137nm 1.5tonn (Gone almost 500k), goes from 0-100 in just under 20 sec. Almost the same as my bice (Downhill) :fact:
I just dumped the Lincoln an hour ago or so for a nice 2005 Hinda Civic. Piccies tomorrow perhaps :)
Whooo, the racing version :DQuote:

uOpt,
Nice, what kind of car are you driving now then?
Ive driven the W123 300TD no difference really except that the engine runs a lot smoother and doesnt make that much noise.
The nicest one is the W123 with Turbo (300 TDT) It actually has 125hp and 250 nm :D Should do 0-100 in 14-15 sec.
Ok. Got rid of the '03 Ranger Edge, and traded it in for a Stock '02 Toyota Solara. Much better gas mileage, and it performs alright.
Finally got some pictures of my new ride... 2k5 Civic w/ 23k miles.
