Seriously man.....I can live with the vCORE droop on the MAX3 with my 3.4E....the main thing I want is to be able to use more then 2.8vdimm.....as I'm gonna be picking up some BH-6 that does 233 1:1 2-2-2-5 with only 3.1v....and I REALLY wanna see what she'll do. ;)Quote:

Any closer to an actual availability date?
well since the max3 has 3.3v i wouldnt be to worried eh?
You're kinda missing the point here:Quote:

2) Higher then 2.8vdimm is NOT usable do to the inaccurate VTT tracking.....there is NOT stability out of the box with most of these boards with 2.9v or higher. The fact that the Optimizer fixes the VTT issues on teh board AND gives me a MUCH higher vdimm limit....I'm VERY interested.
yea wat was ABIT thinking on that one? AI7 worked perfectly but not the 200 dollar ICG Max3. What were they thinking
yes yes twas a joke came off badly over the net though sorry my friend.
∞ respect hipro... I hope to see these make it around very soon :D
p.s. you don't mind if I quote you in my sig do you? :toast:
Yeap..........Nice sign........ :D :toast:Quote:

I mean if I buy that board...there's not much need for the Hipro right?
itll probably have more stable output then the DFI, espcially at load, but it might not really be neccesary
A very sweet touch by DFI! :banana:Quote:

Yes, that board truely is a thing of beauty....it might be just what I need to make the switch to AMD. ;)
Hey Hipro5. Would you recommend BH-5 or BH-6 for the new DFI boards? Which one can scale higher with more volts and can withstand higher volts? Sorry for being off - topic.
I can answer your question. BH-6 is 16nm bigger gate length than BH-5 (not a big deal, eh?), and otherwise identical. In the top end, BH-5 has about 10Mhz headroom over BH-6 (voltage for voltage), but BH-6 can handle slightly higher voltage. That's somewhere over 4.0vdimm, when you can't safely operate BH-5 without serious cooling anymore (no, a fan is not good enough), is when BH-6 can go higher.Quote:

For those who have asked about the DDR PCB plugin , there you go........so as to have a "whole" picture of the DDR Maximizer....... ;)
The DDR PCB is a bit "ugly" BUT it was a handmade one and NOT the final one........The final DDR PCB is BLACK........

In the below photo you can see how SLIM it is so as to fit at ANY DDR slot you wish....... ;)

looks pretty good..
maybe you could work on getting the connector a bit smaller? like floppy size?
No I don't think so .......TOO many Amperes for a smaller connector(aprox. 12A at full load 2 x 512MB Ram modules)...... :)Quote:

The way things are turning out in terms of sizes and wiring is quite nice.....and news/confirmation of black PCB will make alot of us casemodders happy. :)
:slobber: :slobber: That is good... Man, I would want one of those. As the other people have been saying, when is it being released in the countries, like the us? I'm thinking it's going to cost about $80. :)
still waiting. Although I sold my BH-5 cause i just couldnt wait and have money sitting my draw.

man hipro, you really do think of eveything, leave it to you to put a choke on the wiring... great work m8 :toast:
BTW does that BH-5 perform as well as your BH-6? seems like you use the BH-6 more.
Thanks guys........ :toast:Quote:

BH-6 256MB YES performs better than BH-5 256MB ones ........They can "hear" more aggressive settings through bios or any other program......... ;)
This DDR PCB is powered through the mainboard DDR Maximizer with 4 cables through a connector.........Then the DDR Maximizer is powered with two molexes for 2 x 512MB Ram sticks or you can power it with only one molex in case of feeding 2 x 256MB Ram sticks.......Quote:
