Ah well. As theres been very little mention of 1.61 no harm reminding Extreme4 owners its around. I might give it a whirl but if my LED options are gone with it its instantly a dud in my book.
Those are still included so no worries.
Thanks, I'll give it a flash now
ED - Just checked for driver updates and intel have a new chipset driver available 9.2.0.1025. Most likely only very minor updates to the link on the first page so I haven't bothered updating the link.
Just flashed from 1.6A to 1.61 and for those curious I can confirm LED options are still there, as is the 1.7v CPU limit all with the added bonus of no serious UEFI bugs remaining, if any  Strongly recommended Extreme4 owners flash to 1.61 and soak up all the goodness it brings.
Anyone know which bios extreme4 B3 boards ships with are the bios' talked about here compatible?
B3 boards seem to ship with UEFI 1.5 (crap) and yes.
Any one seen B3 Extreme4 on newegg yet? Or they are selling like hotcakes? Want to exchange mine...
The Egg has had some Extreme6 boards, but sold out. I'm down to the MSI GD65, the Ex 4 or Ex 6. The MSI board has me worried because of the cpu voltage phase control they put into, then took out of their software. I'd hate to fry a board / cpu because of some crap software setting that got miss set.
Extreme4/6 all the way. Their absolute stormers. Personally, I'd pick the Extreme4 just because the UEFI for it is more mature where I helped Asrock identify all the bugs.
Ket, that's what I'm seeing. It's great that you have a direct line to Asrock BIOS engineers. I also like the front usb 3 tray. Puts the ports where they can be used best. Only problem with the E4 boards, you can't find them!
Its early days still, give it a week or so and there should be Extreme4s floating around. Pretty much all manufacturers are short on supply atm.
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has an update on the sleep issue with this motherboard. I still am finding any multi above X48 cases a black screen after coming out of sleep mode. Could it be possible that this issue is fixed in the new revision boards?
L1.60C for Extreme4.

Modify some monitor can not adjust UEFI BIOS.
BTW AsRock support from Holland (thans again Ket ) send me yesterday a new beta BIOS (1.60D) and finally my CM Inferno is moving in UEFI BIOS but unfortunately double-POST is back and I have some trouble with USB external drive (stuck at boot with code b4 on Dr.Debug).
So back to 1.61 and everything is fine again (of course without my mouse moving in UEFI interface).
They should use 1.61 as base for further improvements ;)
Anyone else having problems with using offset voltage above ~0.120?
Setting offset any higher doesn't do anything for me :\
Maybe you will need higher LLC.
Higher LLC does get me higher voltages, yes - but why does ASrock implement offset voltage options up to +0.500v if I can use 0.120 max?
It's another good question for their support.
@Ket
I think another list of bugs and wishes is needed :]
Everybody who is having problems with their Extreme4 can you flash to UEFI 1.61, then if your problem isn't resolved send me a PM and I will begin to build a new bugs list. Include as much detail as possible about the problem(s) you are having.
Following these steps will help ensure a "clean" flash.
- Load UEFI defaults, save & exit.
- Update to UEFI 1.61
- Load UEFI defaults, save & exit.
I'm already on 1.61 flashed with default values set :)
I will evaluate the problem a little bit more and inform you afterwards..
I'm currently unable to get my ststem to POST with my raid card installed. Removing the card will allow the system to post, but the card tests fine in my old board.
I've tried the card in both the second PCIE 8x slot and the PCIE 4X slot and others seem to have come across the same/similar problem. See:
http://forums.tweaktown.com/asrock/4...ec-5405-a.html
Does any one here have any suggestions that I could try to get my system to post with the card, or is this a case of needing to wait till AsRock/Adaptec put out a new BIOS?
Card Adaptec 5085
Mother board Asrock P67 Extreme
Debug Code: 0D
BIOS's tested 1.60 and 1.61
I would get in touch with Adaptec, they may already have a fix for your problem.
