think we can hit 2k in less then two weeks?
wonder points loss after the 8th.. im gona loose a little.
Welcome, Major.:)
As long as you keep contributing on a daily basis, that's all that matters. We asked people to go all-out this week. After that, you can give your computer or computers a little breather.:)
Many of the new members are making small contributions each day. But when you add up all those small contributions, they represent millions of points.
I plan to do this full time now.
Folding@Home was good to me, but I was tired of all the problems with the multiple GPU clients on my 4870x2 and the SMP client, plus I tore apart that rig and it still isn't done yet.
I may go back, because it's still pretty cool, but, this gets my CPU time now :D

For me, when i get every rig planned this summer, you might also see my name at gpu grid. GOal for the end of summer is 10k boinc wcg ppd and 10k gpugrid boinc ppd. And if i can get to 20k rac by the end of summer that would be perfect.
Well I have my WHS running WCG 24/7 now, I just need to figure out the % of CPU time to dedicate to this so it doesn't hinder streaming at the same time. I haven't figured out a way to get WCG to scale back when streaming and when I am not move to 100%. If anyone has any ideas feel free to PM me or post here.
Thanks.

I must say I am glad that I have joined the team recently, after Movieman's call to arms. I used to crunch SETI@home like 10 years ago and I remember it used to be like real addiction to me. I sense that's comming back, but at least this time it's for the good cause. Anyway I like the idea of never having enough computing power, as it can always be assigned to crunch WCG, while giving excellent excuse for often hardware upgrades. Go team!
Those that stay are a special breed, ones committed ( and in Dave's case, should be :sofa: ) to bettering this planet by ridding it of diseases that have ravaged so many.
We appreciate any and all participation and a big thanks to those that have helped in our journey. Some can not afford to remain hard core crunchers and some just get bored, time will tell. But every work unit returned just might be today's Rosetta Stone tablet.
From XSWCG... Thank You!

My good friend Usz reminded me to join the cause this week, so here I am with my humble i7 980X :D

But the real star of the show is crunching on my 2Ghz Core 2 Duo Mac mini :D

Hopefully will make this a long term thing if the British summer is bearable this year...
