OK, I got ya. I was just thinking with all this supercooling lately, the gain is starting to diminish in relation to the efforts. ;)

Well relatively speaking, it is...getting twice as cold doesnt give twice the overclock...but cascades seem to do a good 200 MHz extra over 404A setups so that is still a mile advantage even though the percentage is minimal.

I wouldn't say there are more impressive, because we all know that going from -20 to -50 make alot of difference but going from
-60 to -100 doesn't give the same speed jump.

I also belive that TOM's motherboard is the limiting factor right now.

I was thinking in terms of the next step..after that 200mhz gain from the cascade.....is it worth going colder and for how much gain? Lots of effort...minimal gain, if any.

Yes, the mobo used is an erly IC7 G version 1.0 I have tested it with an 2.4Ghz at that time it was getting unstable around 296

I'm going down there today, Promy head on the CPU cascade for easy mounting and good contact.
Video cascade needs a Baker head attached, hopefully CC will do it today.

That score is a Nature bug :D Worthless:D I did it at home.

I think the cascade rig should at least buy 300 more points though. With some good luck I'm hopeing for another 500 plus.

With GPU cascade I'm hoping for 650, I'll probably end up with 634 though. My setup now does 627 in 3D01.

CPU I have no Idea,, my setup will run 3D up to 254, after that the unlocked AGP clock is to high for it. So i'm hopeing for 254x12.5 = 3175 Mhz.

Then again I may run into problems and get nothing accomplished:D

630's shouldn't be that tough....I ran 621 through Car Low a few times at only -40C.
Slightly off topic, that FX-51 is just about tapped out at 3100...Even the suicide screenshot guys are only getting 3300. SO, if the FX nets you a 31K score...quite nice, let's look at the EE. We see the EE on the ORB at 29.4K and 29K at 4100-4300mHz. Both at XT clocks under 610. The suicide screenshot guys are pushing the EE up north of 5100mHz, even 5300mHz. It's not unreasonable to say a 5ghz EE may be benchable. And IMO, a 5ghz EE @ 630/455 with winxp, 8.1 and 6396's should beat the FX at 3gHz. If the FX can go 3100-3200 it should be able to keep the top spot, but what we really need now is for someone to e-mail the Japanese guys and tell them to bench 3D!!

Hey OPP,

I'm doing that vdd volt mod you showed me Wednesday night first. I thought my SK8V was limited to 1.52 volts on the core but I didn't realize there are two places to raise the CPU volts on these MBDs. For that reason I am waiting on the vcore mod. Thanks for your help BTW.

What is a good voltage to run my Corsair at to get about 240x2 @ 5-2-2-2 without too much danger of frying them?
