Fosters isn't bad, not exactly my taste but then again I like an old fashioned Miller and I don't mean the "Lite" version..

Fosters to us conjures distant racial memories of stale dingo smegma mixed with rancid camel urine and koala faeces.


No. We're not overly fond of it. I think we only sell it overseas as some kind of practical joke.

Fosters is almost as bad as emuexport!

You guys don't even know how a good beer tastes unless you've been to Germany anyways :p:

Been there many times and German beer is over rated compared to Belgian beer! :p:

But they do serve it in large quantities unlike the dutch who like half of their beer to be froth (head)

So you tried all 10000 kinds of beer while you where here? :p:
Thing is, every small cowtown has its own beer brewery here.. the big brands mostly suck so you have to try some to find the ones you like the most :up:

What they sell internationally usually tastes like crap (Miller/Bud/etc) or has no taste at all (see Beck's...)

I love both belgian and german beer, those guys know what they are doing, but dont forget the danish,hehe, norwegian beer does not cut it,sorry. Also love those darker english ones! I will probably get banned for this, but american beer suck, even chineese beer is better,sorry guys. Only good that comes from u.s.a is old "jack",but,thats not beer,lol.

But for some reason we dont get many choices of german beer here (Oz) besides the famous ones. We do however get a lot of Belgian beer comparitevly.

I always try the local beer wherever I go cos you never know when you will a great beer.

Yeah and Becks is just crap and I never understood why some of my mates rave about it.

Have you tried Duvel already ? Or Leffe ?
And do you know Westvleteren ?

i live in the US and can't stand any of those and will only drink them if its a last resort.

never been to Germany but would love to go at some point. what do you think of Warsteiner? i've had the dunkel (dark lager) and verum (pilsner) and liked them both.

i love belgian white's like blue moon, hoegaarden and Victory's golden monkey (9% abv :eek:)

Yes and Yes but not Westvleteren (well that I remember at least ;)) Hoegaarden is my beer of choice when I can get it but our local "Red Back" (oh and yes Fosters own everything lol)

Thanks for pointing that out SIG I didnt want to rub it in too much. And to think I have two quads left to install!
