They are spec. at 2.3v (PVS22G9600ELK)... the Ram List at i4memory doesn't list the Viper PC2-9600 just the PC2-9200.
I was also able to run my Kingston HyperX PC2-9200 (spec. 2.35v KHX9200D2K2/2GR) on my Gigabyte UD3P at 500fsb 5/6 divider DDR2-1200 with around 2.1v.
sure brag alot about how many memory sticks you have
I got my Dominator PC2-8500's back from RMA and they are version 5.1.
I had a look and they weren't listed.
Good? Bad?
I'll do some overclocking tomorrow :)
well i like d9 i cant seem to wanna sell any of my ram
i tryin but i just cant give em up:rofl:
and i keep buyin more:eek:
i got 30+ gigs of ddr2:rofl: n i want more
got a set of dominator 8500 1.2 last week and they were pure crap couldnt go over 1200 stable even with 2.4v i will be bringin em back to the shop soon
i wanted to add them to my d9 collection but 80$ for a crap set no ty
well i have some xtreem teams 10400 1300s for sale if you want to add to your collection ?:D
Anyway is version 5.1v good?
My D9 GKX do 1206MHz @ 2.1v in BIOS, boot even @ 2.0v and everything seems stable. Will mess around with them more when I can but I'll have to start messing with skews.
I decided to try out my Kingston HyperX PC2-9200 D9 GKX to see if I could also run them at DDR2-1200 with low volts... I left all the voltages at stock settings and ran 7x500 with 5/6 divider. The DDR voltage on the UT was 1.91v!
Very nice voltage for that speed, one of the lowest I have ever seen. Very good ram indeed.

Nice ram, mate
I swapped in my set of Patriot Viper and they appear to run at the same settings as well.
I think the motherboard and the 333 latch 5/6 divider is a big factor. My UD3P also seems to have a compatible 333 5/6 divider with my D9 GKX sticks.
I will note however that I haven't had much luck running the Viper or the HyperX at high speeds (with any divider) on my Biostar boards.
Anyone here have SPD dump of Team Xtreem DDR 2 1066 CL5?I would need it for just in case scenario.
I was checking out your sig and it got me thinking... and I thought why not... so I installed the HyperX in dimm 1+3 and the Viper in dimm 2+4 changed the multi to 8 and set cpu vcore to 1.25v shows 1.21v in bios. All the other voltages were left at stock. I was running prime blend when I took the screenshot. CPU vcore was mostly at 1.20v while running under load sometimes dipping to 1.184/1.9v.
Wow! Unbelievable! It seems DFI rocks. 500 FSB at 1,12 vNb and 1,91 vDimm.
Well, Smart Guardian tends to report VDIMM as being lower than the actual voltage, at least with the LT/UT P35 boards.
the best micron D9 ever had are Cellshock 8500 black for me
i could achieve
700Mhz

486.9MHz 3-2-2-1

superpi32M stabil 500MHz 3-4-3-9
628Mhz 4-4-4-12

Very good results. Did you have "Red Devils" ? I think they are a little better than your 8500.
i have tried red devils and they get better timings
but for Max Takt blacks are better
GKX timing vs GMH clock
PolRoger - It would make a lot more sense if the DFI voltage software is under-reporting the voltages, I have a hard time believing the ram or the NB for that matter would be stable at those speeds & PL. Any chance you can measure the real vdimm with a DMM please?
westsider - nice work, what voltages were used for each setting. Also your link for 32M CL3 is missing.

i am sorry for my mistake
it was a long time ago
it was 1M test
