Wait until I submerge mine in sunflower oil :hehe:

I'll just stick mine under L2N and show all you :banana::banana::banana::banana:es up :p:

You know that auction that I got out of at $160.00 2 days ago?
That scumbag sends me a second chance offer tonight.
Dumb bastage he is.
48 hours after the end he's saying the winner hasn't paid him yet?
The rule of thumb on ebay is you have 7 days to pay.
Add in that this winner "supposedly" bought her first purchase from him and it went well and he's doing a second chance after 48 hours?
Either he's as dumb as a fencepost of he thinks I am.
I sent it all to eBay security and asked thay they dump both of them..
His message to me:
"She didn't pay me, I need money, so if you want, you can buy it. thanks"
He's Vietnamese so I sent him this:
"Tam Biet Irene"
Tam biet is good night!
yea, I was at $110.00 before "she" cut in and he sends me a second chance offer at my max of $160.75..He can kiss my ass.
I tried the pin mod with a pair of 1667's last year and got nothing.
I do have every piece of paper that I could find on these.
PM me your email addy and I'll send what I have.
Yeah, I was going to suggest checking into setfsb, it's nice that the source is available, but not in English... You could try sending off an email to the author providing the information he requests on the site.
Good 'ol PIC 8-bit microcontrollers, they're used to teach the embedded systems course :)
I've been looking into seeing what's possible to do in linux, since there's kernel support for I2C (of which SMBUS is a subset) and tools available for use. I guess the one thing I'm still clueless about is finding the right bus address for the pll, but I think there's at least a tool for querying the bus. I glanced through an Intel motherboard datasheet last night and I was surprised that they listed the pll model/series and address, but that's been the only one I've seen with that information. I checked a Supermicro one, but it only listed the pll model/series...
If any one of you geniuses figure out how to OC this thing, you'll let us know, will ya? ;)
An overclocked sausageman ... scary.
I remember asking cpuz(Franck) here on the forum when I had my DX3600 Irwindale(same 7520 chipset) if a clockgen could be made to work on this and he said no because SuperMicro actually used two of them, one to back up the other in case one failed.
Hopefully different here.
Will get those docs out to you today.
Works on the Intel board the fan speed control?
What about... uhm... compromising one of the hw clockgens? Then write for the second clockgen. That should solve the problem.
ok.. just tried to boot-up for first time ;)
no POST. no nothing.
diagnostic LEDs show the following:
1st LED: green
2nd LED: nothing
3rd LED: amber
4th LED: nothing
LED codes/info are in mobo manual on pg131.. I cant seem to 'decipher' what the code means :( - any help would be greatly appreciated!
@ MM: what slot would u advise for a single DIMM? cheers!
:(
slots 1-3 produce the same result... also, just as some more 'info' - *all* the LEDs go thru a rather fancy 'show off' before finally 'settling down' to the previous mentioned order/code
slots 4-8 give a diff result: LEDs 1-3 show amber, LED#4 shows green, as well as the onboard speaker giving me 3 medium length 'beeps'
my darn RAM stick better not be 'DOA'
how does one diagnos dead RAM? :(
I have noooo idea where the nearest person is to me that would have a mobo compatible with ECC+REG DDR2 :(
sure! np! - uno momento.. I will edit this post with the details!
ok, heres the details.... hey, hang on a min.. are u suspecting that this slow-witted, triple-back-plate-buying ozzie bought the wrong stuff?!!? :p:
details:
Kingston KVR400D2S8R3/512I
(512MB SS DIMM, PC2-3200, CL3, REG & ECC)
the 'I' at the end of the model code apparently denotes that it is 'Intel Verified/Certified' - according to the Kingston website.. There is (iirc) some stuff, almost exactly the same code number, but without the 'I' at the end blahblahblah (u get the pic ;) )
anything else I need to add? :)
