Actually, I'm thinking I might offer "custom" kits for that. Maybe re-packaging the sticks into kits. We'll see ;)
Tank, that would be awesome
I'll take (3 x 2Gb) CSX Diablo 6Gb DDR3 2000Mhz
Okay, the shipment has left Germany, and should be in our hands in a few days. We currently have an estimated ship date of 12/4, just to be safe. If we can ship earlier, obviously we will :D
I've marked the products active so you guys can order and reserve your spots.
2Gb DDR2 800mhz (2 available)
2Gb DDR3 2000Mhz (4 available)
4Gb DDR3 2000mhz Mhz (4 available)
Anyone interested in a re-packed customer tri-channel kit, let me know and we can talk details.
What IC is on the DDR2 kit?
So we should expect 1150Mhz 5-4-4-12 @ 2.1v maybe? Im kinda lost with DDR2 now hehe
Tank I just ordered the 2 x 2gb 2000mhz ddr3 kit. Would it be possible to split up the same kit and sell it as a triple channel kit, especially if someone else is looking for the same deal, we could both benefit from this.
For tri kits modules will be completely same just in package of 3. So it seems there will be Diablo 2GHz kits too.
I did some quick 8Gb tests in my free time & this memory just keeps on surprising me.
I did UNLINKED 8Gb 2000 8-7-6-22 2T & 8-8-8-2T , Everest results are not great because I cannot run my QX9770 linked at this speed, but it shows what this memory is capable of if matched with a C2D
also some tests linked/synced at 1850
These settings can be improved easily with some more time to adjust the subtimings, time I do not have at the moment.
The voltage of 2.10 I used is by no means the lowest voltage possible for these settings, I just set it like that instead of testing lower
Next week I hope to post some results with 12Gb in Rampage II Extreme & 965 Extreme, I have the board & CPU but I'm waiting for Swiftech GTZ with LGA1366 brackets arriving on Tuesday.
Amazing Rodriguez
However, I dont think you want to run those sticks at 2.1v 24/7...
http://www.csx-memory.com/?site=show...d=51&grouping=
Triple channel kits listed on CSX's website.
According to what I know the GTR chips are of the same spec as first ones & can run 2.10v 24/7. For better compatibility reasons they have been rebranded as 9-9-9-28 1.9v.
GTS kit are a little different, but can run 2.0 without any damage, although you won't need to.
Yeah but keep in mind the first strikers 680is were known to kill RAM in some cases. I have also heard of some situations on the S2E 790i, so that made me think that it might be dangerous to go above rated specs on this board too.
I even read some time ago about some Diablos dying on a S2E with 2.00v I believe...
Anyways, I rather not risk it. No more than 1.95v for me :)
The memory is now fully in stock. People with existing orders should already have tracking numbers, which will show up on Monday when the products ship.
We are unable to do any more tri-channel kits for the 2Gb sticks. However, anyone who wants to do 3x1Gb, let me know, as that's still an option.
Ben, now we can sell 1GBx3 and 2GBx3 configurations. Let me know what you need.
Kasparz, are you guys preparing 3*1GB Kits with the Samsung HCF chips ?
Afaik CSX doesn't have HCF0 Samsungs at stock. I have tested Samsungs that can do 1600MHz 8-8-8 at 1.65Vdimm and 2GHz 9-9-9 at 1.8Vdimm, but i forgot mfg code.
Kasparz it must be HCH9. but 1GB or 2GB modules did you tested? and in X58 Tri-Ch or 790i DC again?
Bill i asked a few times about it, but some guys prefer micron for the diablos too much or i don't get it... but it's weird coz some of the early 1333 cec kits was HCF0 based, afaik on Tri-Ch 1600 cec kits will be somekind of samsungs, maybe the same HCH9 what is in use now for most DC kits in 1333~1600 range.
Perhaps you should create a new line for the triple channel kits with low voltage / high frequencies chips ( HCF ), and leave Micron for the Diablo "series".
