EXPreview also used DDR3 @ 1066mhz 6-6-6 (tweaktown use 7-7-7 ) , CPU also quad-core runing @ 3Ghz (333x9)
here the results

Note: Tweaktown used the new Forceware 169.01 and Run in windows XP and Expreview used the 167.26 beta and run Windows Vista , i dont know how much the new driver boost´s in 3dmark 2006 and also runing with Windows XP score its always better (don´t know exactly the difference in points@marks) , so its perfectly normal tweaktown system have better 2k6 score than EXpreview (because of new driver and Windows XP) , Now if the difference should be ~1300 marks i dont know.....
so i would say that maybe they shoud score about 12800/12900 marks with that new 169.01 driver , Quad-core @ 3ghz , and Windows Vista
if the new forceware 169.01 also give +500 extra marks in windows XP and the difference from XP to Vista in 2k6 its around 900 marks then tweaktown score maybe its right ........
8800GT + Quad-core @ 3ghz & 167.26 driver (windows Vista) = ~12300 marks ( then if using 169.01 with +500 extra marks = ~12800marks)
12800 marks with windows Vista , if the difference from windows XP to Windows Vista its around 900 marks then >>> 12800 marks + 900 marks = 13700 marks (tweaktown score)
anyone know the difference in 2k6 from XP to Vista ??

Should be interesting to see what the egg does with GTS prices, I have been watching them pretty close to see if they start to firesale those.
I had hoped sometime today they might have the GT's up but I guess that was just wishful thinking.
Here one shop list the Asus 8800GT 512MB. But I guess monday should be the big part in that term.
Those 50000 was 512MB cards sofar I understood. But thats just for release, they still make em ;)
And some 200-300000 total for the rest of the year..still just 512MB.
Speculation ends here, pls discuss actual results in the review thread.
