I bet someone with a e6600 will beat me out since they will hit 400fsb@3.6ghz giving them more memory bandwidth. We all :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: about multi selection and no other 975X board will either. Even the Bad Axe with the mod still won't help on the retail chips.

They had free shipping on this weekend on orders over £199. I announced it in the "UK Conroe consumers look here" thread yesterday that they had free delivery this weekend only. The offer's ended now as it's Monday now.
Can't remember the price. About £122 it was. Cheapest I've seen so far.
Also ordered the Retail E6300. Was going to go with E6600 but I'm going to get ready for Kentsfield as I was spending money on a new keyboard and a 320GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 16 MB Cache SATA2 hard drive.

The site says stock due (for the mobo) in 5-7 days. It said 1-2 weeks on Saturday but on Sunday said 5-7 days.

Yes I already have this heatsink. The Zalman CNPS9500. Served me well for 6 months so far.
I already have a P180 black case, Antec NEO HE PSU 550W(Modular), 4x NEC ND-4570 DVD writers, 200GB Seagate SATA, X-Fi Fatal1ty, Logitech G5 mouse. 7900GTX

Ordered an extra hard drive, E6300, MSI 975X Plat. Powerup, and a normal Logitech keyboard.

My finished spec should be as sig, but with an E6600, Zalman 9500, MSI 975X PE, and 2GB OCZ PC2-6400 Platy (which has been sat gathering dust in my wardrobe!). Tempted to throw another 7900GT into the mix aswell, provided official support is announced and my wallet allows it :D

Sorry OT, but what do you use 4 DVD writers for?! :eek: I get taunts off mates for having just 2!

I don't know whether to sell my 7900GTX and get the best price I can before DX10 cards cause price drops.

Anyway, back on topic. I can't wait for my board to arrive. Sold most of my components and I had to pull out some old stuff from the spare room and now currently running some old Gigabyte board with 9800se and 640MB DDR and P4 3.2GHz (478).

Well I'm no help. Received my GSkill HZ and new OCZ 700 GamesXstream and my MSI 975Plat won't even power up. PS is good as its powering my current sig setup. Luckily I have the Gigabyite DS3 coming this week as well for my e6400.

Yeah it seems like G.Skill has some serous Quality Control issues lately too. Read some reviews on Egg, "one dead stick," or "stick wouldnt pass memtest," etc.

Did you try a different stick of ddr2 to make sure its even the motherboard to begin with?

i guess we'll hae to wait for him to update us with what the d-bracket indiccates, if he has speakers attached to hear beep codes.

i highly doubt it's the g-skill since since if you remember coolaler was using the 1k hz to test with conroe and kentsfield. maybe the board needs a flash?

My OC still isn't getting anywhere. Im running at a mere 17x236 Mhz right now. What do you guys suggest I do? Certainly my PD950 can do ATLEAST 4.5 Ghz stable (Iv done this on my Intel 955x).

Here is what I have tried so far:

Mutliplier: 17
FSB: 266 Mhz
Core Speed: 17x266= 4.522 Ghz
Memory Divider: 1:1 (533 Mhz)
Mem voltage: 2.25v
PCIE/MCH voltage: 1.7v
Vcore: 1.58v (In bios)
I am running 2 GB of memory

2X 512 PC 5300 Team Xtreem CL3 (IC=D9)
and
2x 512 PC 4300 Micron CL4 (IC=D9)

I really don't know what to do now :( Help!

Doesn't VMCH effect PCIe voltages? Isn't this in turn overvolting PCIe video cards?
