5.1 ghz on a 930D? with that cooling shown in your signature???
that's absolutely impossible...
even with a vapo it should not be an easy task... 930D produce some massive heat, compared to a C2D...

somebody can tell me the WR with air cooling with E4300
"5.1 ghz on a 930D? with that cooling shown in your signature???

Impossible or not,i did it. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=212353
Maybe i will reach higher, i dont know what is making problems @the moment, may be a FSB-wall @340FSB or the Ram.
The Board is only modded with the Droop-Mod with 50K. The voltages are Ram 2,0V ; CPU 1,5V (overvolted to 1,6V) , the rest is Auto, i didnt find a positive aspect if i change them manually. Maybe someone has a few tipps about that.....
PS: OcInside`s Hitman because im the Hitman of the German-OcInside-Forum. http://www.forum-inside.de/cgi-bin/f...&member=Hitman
PPS: A few Mhz more now. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=213074 Now 5181Mhz. Maybe reach with better cooling than water and chiller. But i wont use a comp or DI or N to cool it ;) .
PPPS: Ok hit 5200Mhz. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=213087
Some 930s are real good clockers. Mine was 5.2GHz on water, 5.6GHz on phase and 5.9GHz on DI. Actually, check the first post in this thread, mine is still there for the 930 record, but I am sure there's been faster now.
good joke :D 4ghz to go: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=182607

Mobile Sempron 3000+ LV (Roma core)@2610Mhz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=230319
Running 24/7 and prime stable for 12h+
Cpu-z detects it as albany core (witch is a mobile a64 core)
The only Mobile Sempron 3000 listed on first page is Sonora core
EDIT: Can go higher, but not stable.

Have done around 320x8 but got no cpu-z on that, really not interested in clock without 100% stability :p
How the hell did someone go over 3Ghz with a Clawhammer, the highest I can get my socket 754 3700+ is 2.586 and once it blue screened, I got it to 2.6Ghz once but after a few minutes I got the BSOD, is there a really good guide for overclocking these clawhammers, I've heard clawhammers aren't that great for oc'ing anyways, I hope I have better luck when my Zalman CNPS9700 LED comes in :)

First dice session:D The pot was badly mounted, which is why it didn't coldbug. However, when I gave it more than 1.55v it suddenly got very hot. I re-benched it with the pot, much better contact this time - but -40c on core1 was too cold to avoid the bug, so I could only try to get some otehr benchmark records.

I also have one of your stepping on the way^^ batch # is very close to your chip, but i dnont remember exactly. Looks like I don't need it anyway lol.
There is alot more in this chip, I hope 3.8 is possible with the right temps. AMD DC non-FX WR would be VERY nice;)
Good luck ;)

OMG ! Very nice  I've played with a 3.2GHz Northy too, but I only managed to speed him up to 4500MHz under SS, and 4600MHz under dry ice ... Couldn't possibly get it to boot over 4.6GHz, therefore considering it not a very good result :(

it's Worl Record database in the title no ??
why mostly posts who not are WR ???
Hi, here my
World Record:
AMD 4200+ X2 Toledo @ 3430.18 Mhz - LCBQE 0723 VPMW - Water
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=335958
Upon running my machine oc'd until it reboot, being an older 2.8e socket 478, I found this forum with the database. To my surprise, the old 2.8 is listed as a 2.8 "a" which is a non-HT 533 bus(?) if I am not mistaken... The 2.8 "e" is the 800 HT... the largest 2.8 prescott.
It is indeed an "a" upon checking. It makes me wonder why the 2.8e isn't over 6ghz on air....and listed here as the record. I am too stupid for that, but hey, someone must have an old one ready to set it straight. :)
And also, where I am not much of an upgrader.. could someone lead me on the right direction for a decent overclock at all times? I currently can run 3012mhz no probs, on oem volts and kvr pc3200 ram...(I can only guess that is the first thing that needs to go...)
thanks.

I'd assume so...

I just saw this-E6300: Misteroadster - 3893.1Mhz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=112754 is it out of date? i beat that with my 6300-3.9ghz e6300-http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=139796 with a freezer 7 pro.
this thread is very old and not updated... check www.ripping.org, or www.hwbot.org if you want the real WR's....
This thread is WAY off topic, 99% of posts are personal bests. It's supposed to be for WORLD RECORDS people...
This thread does indeed have very old results...locked. Refer to the websites listed above to check world records.
