EDIT: I think the reason for my higher than normal temps on water is that I have two 7800GTXs in the loop before the cpu, granted I do have a 120mm black ice pro between them and the cpu also, but that will only work so well.. might be time to spray the fins out on that rad.. I want to re-work my WC soon to get my cpu on a dedicated loop..

Hello I Have 165 0604 CCBWE, Prime stable 2.5 ghz @ 1.30 volts. but when i take it to 2600 it needs 1.41 to be prime stable .
Could it Be the Board A8n-sli premium?
i have Also One Ultra-D laying around. - Otherwise great but didnt work so well with the Memory Controller and G.Skill Rams.. tried about milloion diffrent BIOS versions raging from betas to ancient Default bios
A8n-sli Premium has been rock solid this far. could 2500mhz be the sweet spot, Cpu is 28 idle and 40 on stress... Ofcourse on h2o.
Psu is Fortron Bluestorm 500w
Well every CPU is different, mine needs 1.425 to do 2.6 and 1.5 for 2.7.
Not all 165 do 2.9 on stock volts (which would be great :D)

That was a really quick shot, didn't even do all the optimizations. Watercooling in a 69F room. Idling around 36c. The chip has over 3.4 Ghz in it.
